It’s been a while since I showed y’all a sketch of mine so I thought I’d show you the underdrawing for my very belated mermay piece! Every colour is on a different layer for now but when I’m ready to do lineart I’ll merge them. Having them separate is nice for preserving lines I’m sure about (the dark blue ones) while I experiment with construction lines for the places I’m not sure how to do yet (the red ones). I’ll probably keep the background lines (turquoise) on a separate layer for this one. The straightforward perspective will make it easy to do a clean lineless background!
