"The Dream Pools"

Pride's realm of torment seems more peaceful on the surface than those of other rings, but Cerberus, the watcher of this realm, will assure you: all sinners encased in these sticky mucous pods suspended in liquid starlight are suffering tenfold for their sins, and are being tranformed with every nightmare they face. The pods, much like something from an Aliens movie, are holding each sinner in stasis, where they are cycling through eternal nightmares until they finally wake up, full transformed (if they wake up at all). Cerberus, the three headed watchdog of the dream pools (a coy nickname) has 2 challenges to grant sinners entry into purgatory. Either manage to sneak past undetected (hard) or fight Cerberus head on (harder). Those unable to pass are swallowed whole by one of Cerberus's heads and spit up by another, fully coccooned once more. Escaping Any realm of torment is a tall order, but some sinners are "poched" for lack of a better word. Overlords and sinners trying to climb the ladder see the Dream Pools as "easy pickings" for human traff//icking but they more often than not are caught by Cerberus and join the ranks of "the Dreamers" as they are called.

In my au, Angel is no longer a twink pornstar, he is a WW2 Veteran with PTSD. He was drafted when he was just barely 19 and he had way too much fun being violent in the war and now he's in hell with blood stains all over his hands up his forearms that he cant get off. He wears gloves to hide this. The suffering he's gone through has drained the wrath from him, and now he's the Muscle for a knockoff Hollywood film set in Lust's Purgatory. I will make an official post about him when I properly knock out his design.
