Commodore VIC-1001 // this is the Japanese version of the VIC-20. We could say it's the original version of the machine, as the VIC-1001 was released before the VIC-20. His invention brought digital technology to a new breed of consumer devices and powered early Apple and Commodore computers.

The innards of an original Commodore PET 2001 computer from 1977! 4Kb of RAM and a 1MHz CPU: that’s how things were done 40 years ago... This machines weighs a ton (10.5 kilograms, actually), mostly due to the integrated monochrome 9-inch display. Interesting fact: The PET’s looks were designed by Chuck Peddle (b.1937), who was also one of the main designers of the 6502 processor on which it is based.
