chuck + sam time please 🥺

it's not a whole lot, and it's something i started writing a long time ago but i refuse to fully abandon, bcuz i just love the idea of chuck being so Weird with sam <3 that's his favorite doll he likes to stick pins into ya know. and sam with his complicated relationship to god and religion, having once been devout and prayed everyday, ough. such delicious concepts. the only thing is that i feel like anything i write can't fully encapsulate everything they've got going on, ya know? so i feel like all i write for them falls flat :/ maybe one day i'll get around to writing more but agh idk

in the meantime, here's a tiny snippet of what i have:

Sam grimaces and holds back a painful cry. He does not need God to hear his pain. Sam used to pray everyday and heard not a word, not a sign, not an acknowledgement. He doesn't get to hear him now. “I thought once you were in the Cage, I had gotten rid of you. Both you and Lucifer. Two birds with one stone, as the saying goes. But no. Of course you and your little family had to go and fuck that one up too.” Sam bites his tongue. He knows what he wants to say, has decades of rage built up inside of him, but he does not want to give Him the satisfaction. If He wants Sam to speak, then He will have to make him. God's finger enters Sam's wound and pulls. Sam gasps, electric shocks of pain cascading over him.

prompt: Sam/Chuck however dark you like

“I own you,” Chuck whispers, tugging Sam’s hair harshly. “I created you.”

Sam can’t move, held down by Chuck’s powers, face pressed right into the pillow on the bed. His eyes water - not because he’s afraid of what Chuck’s going to do to him, but because of what Dean may find when he finally finds him.

“And boy - did I create something beautiful, huh, Sammy?” He scratches his fingernails down Sam’s bare back, smirking when the muscles there ripple from the stimulation. 

“Fuck you,” Sam gasps out, even if it’s a bit muffled.

“Oh, no, Sam - - fuck you. Just remember - this is all your fault. If you and your brother hadn’t gone poking where you don’t belong, maybe none of this would have happened.” He slides his hand under Sam’s body, pinching his nipple. 

Sam holds in any noise he wants to make, body tense on the bed. He should fight, push back - but he’s too tired. Too drained from all of this.

“There’s a good boy,” Chuck whispers when he feels Sam’s will slipping away. “Just give in.”

Chuck is more than a little sweet on Sam, and Cas eventually takes the initiative to nudge the two together. After all, if it wasn't for Sam, he's not sure how long it would've taken him to finally start dating Dean.

Oh my gosh okay but if Chuck takes the initiative to tell Sam how he feels!  How would he do it?

Maybe he’d be super super awkward but crazy straight forward, like just kiss him, completely out of nowhere, and then of course he’d be all anxious and awkward and make some comment that makes absolutely no sense before running (almost literally) away from him.  

Or maybe Cas would like, catch onto Chuck’s crush, and manage to ‘subtly’ (insofar as Cas is ever subtle) see if Sam is possibly interested in Chuck back, and then encourage Sam to make a move and Sam would probably do something stupidly romantic like take Chuck out for a “date” that doesn’t read like a date immediately-- like out to coffee, or froyo-- and then he’d walk Chuck home and kiss him at the door, all normal like they do it all the time, and Chuck would just fall into him all pliant and overwhelmed.
