it’s crazy how whenever i come back home, my hometown friends are reminiscing about how fun senior year of hs was because that shit was NOT fun for me. i let the stress of applying to college and Life get to me and i was at the lowest i’ve ever been for months, not sleeping or eating properly, self-isolating, tensions with my family, falling outs with people… it wasn’t until i broke up with my bf and found out i was gay that i really found my footing, and that was at the end of the year. i honestly wish i didn’t spend so much time in my head because i could’ve been like Not suffering at seventeen… but life goes on
