do you recommend Artstation?

Honestly I haven’t been active on it since I joined simply because it’s not really a social platform, it’s more of a portfolio site, so I’ll probably post most of my finished stuff over there and my process/wips etc on instagram and twitter, but if you’re looking for a site to showcase your art to potential employers then yes would recommend (p sure it’s only artistic nudes allowed there just fyi no naughties).

it honestly bothers me so much. it isn’t about retaining character. it’s about the transphobic idea that you can only change gender if your genitals correspond. it’s so…mm gross

what if you make a presumably cis guy a trans woman tho? do you have to give a detailed explanation of what’s in their pants to justify drawing it? I mean, most people I know who draw/write that have an equal amount of trans headcanons if not more. maybe I’m just sheltered with who I chose to follow, idk
