This is really hard because I honestly love a lot of the enemies and I don’t know if the chance to talk about them will come up often so I’m just going to go off. So sorry: 

Treasure hoarders and slimes are both eh. Their designs are fine (not much flavor but that’s okay, you need a little bit of the plain in there) and I don’t mind fighting them. 

Whopperflowers annoy me but I like their design, they just remind me of pokemon. 

Hatchlings also remind me of pokemon so epic win. 

I really love hilichurls in general but I really really hate them being an indigenous coded enemy. There are two hilichurls that I always see sleeping under a tree together and I’m always like oh!! they’re on a date ;w;. I also really love the unusual hilichurl, he reminds me a lot of an absurdist tramp/clown. I want to see him perform!!

Abyss mages? Perfection. I adore them so much. Their little face, their fluffiness, their beautiful robes, the ears, the little legs, the funky voice!! I would want to be an abyss mage. Every time one spawns in I get excited cause I love seeing them. 

Ruins guards are good. Love the plants that grow on them. I would like to hold their hands and just sit with them. Don’t mind fighting them. 

I would have been obsessed with the fatui agents when I was 13. I was really fixated on Alex Mercer from Prototype and honestly, I probably would have loved the fatui agents even more. I love their movement. Just so edgy and cool. I don’t know why their little shirt collar just hits so right. 

Fatui skirmishers are really great. I how different their models are in size and shape for humanoid enemies. Love how well dressed these gentlemen are. Just wish they weren’t always near some kind of cliff when we’re fighting. Also bracers...👉👈 I think they are very handsome (´//•ω•///｀)

Fatui cicin mages are wonderful. I love the way they move especially when they’re just casually walking around. Hate the noise they make when they’re hit but I highly recommend fighting one with the Chinese voice-over. The incantations and chanting they do is so cool.

Regisvines are okay. I don’t mind fighting them which is nice because I use mainly pyro and cryo (me with a balanced team? never). 

Hypostasis are eh. Rubik’s cubes are kinda a bit dull for a design but I like how they move sometimes.

Lupus Boreas is just cool. Love that he just fights to help train. Feels like a big supportive wolf dad. 

Dvalin is amazing. I would have been obsessed when I was like 5-12. I adored dragons especially feathery blue dragons. I still do (just not as much). Very sad Venti can’t cuddle and play music with him as I would like to as well. Gorgeous. -blows kisses to the sky for Dvalin- 

Damn the oceanid. I don’t use any bow users so I haven’t actually finished that fight. Started it then couldn’t reach the flying enemies so yeah. That’s on me for my unbalanced team but so be it.

[ Vol Ozug. We finally meet. ]

His voice was strong, tone commanding as he spoke fluently in the hilichurl language, his back was straight and his posture was strong, a blood-curdling, withering glimmer in his eyes. The mitachurl towered over Aether, granted, yet even then it was more than obvious who here was far more deserving of respect.

The ruin guard looming behind the Abyss Order’s leader did nothing to play into Vol Ozug’s favour, taller than even the mitachurl. Its single glowing eye was locked straight forward, almost as if unaware of its surroundings. Make no mistake, however; one wrong move towards The Prince, and a painful death would follow quickly.

[ I have heard many praising your name. It makes me wonder why you are not as large as your other chieftain brothers in the Liyue region. ]

Aether looked Vol Ozug over, from head to toe, though his cold and unforgiving eyes lingered on the mask long enough to likely send a chill running up and down the mitachurl’s spine. Aether’s eyes then narrowed dangerously, and somehow, someway, he looked even more dangerous than before.

Deafening silence hung in the air, but then Aether’s expression softened. Not by much, but it was just enough for it to now be considered more neutral. Definitely less imposing.

[ Then again, some of the samachurl and abyss mages spoke of your incompetence, as infrequent it may be. I do hope you are using the forces allotted to you wisely, for your own sake. ]

13. Favorite enemy?

Starting off small, I’d say Hilichurls. They vibin’, they groovin’, they chillin’, and they’re hardly intimidating with how tiny they are. Don’t even get me started on their sounds. That’s not a monster, that’s a chihuahua or a pomeranian on its back legs with a Christmas plate stuck to its face. Plus if you ever have to deal with them, you can just dropkick them over a fence and they can’t do anything about it.

Onto the minibosses/Elite Enemies, the Fatui Cicin Mage. The design for them is fantastic and the concept is interesting, but battles against them are short due to the one-two punch of Beidou’s Shield and Klee’s arsenal of explosive magic. And a poke or two from Jean, if it’s time-based. That aside, and this is a controversial take, Abyss Mages. They’re like those strawberry candies you get at the dollar store; hard on the outside, squishy on the inside. You break through their shields with the right element, you can just bully them to death without any issues.

Favorite boss, though. That’s a hard call. For dumb reasons, I want to say the Hypostasis bosses. But really, I’ll say it’s either Stormterror/Dvalin or Childe/Tartaglia. They’ve got their problems, sure, but the fights aren’t that bad if you’re properly equipped for them.

14. Least favorite enemy?

Samachurls, Treasure Hunters, literally any Fatui enemy that isn’t the Fatui Cicin Mage or the Fatui Agent, and Whopperflowers. Hate all of ‘em. Especially the Fatui enemies.

Minibosses/Elite Enemies I dislike, the Ruin Hunters and Geovishaps/Beyblade Lizards. Fights with them are more tedious than anything, which is why I avoid them at all costs if I can.

And my least favorite boss is Andrius. He hits like a truck with a massive AoE range, he has ludicrous healthpool, he eats your stamina and slows you down with Cryo, and he’s double-element Cryo/Anemo, leaving him immune to both. And don’t even get me started on the icicles and the wolves he can summon. Every fight with him is a pain and I’m glad I wrapped up the BP ranking system so I don’t need to deal with him for a while. If only I had the cash for the hymn rip

You and I may not really be ‘threading’ but the amount of shitposting we’ve done on the dash and on discord is astounding. I absolutely adore all the stupid interactions we’ve set up. Jim and Raguna? I’m still cackling like an idiot. Wylan and Sodom? The worst forced allies in a disasterpiece.

And don’t even get me started on Eira and Sodom. I thrive off of their stupid goddamn interactions. And the fact that arc 2 of Tri:Zero is keeping her from killing Sodom over and over again.

AND YOU! Are also so pleasant to talk to OOC! So polite! And kind! And funny! We don’t talk a lot over DMs but every time I feel like I’m left with a smile. Never be afraid to drop in and poke me for anything.

HAREM

My portrayal of Raguna is heterosexual and monogamous. I chose to go with this in part because of how I view his goals in life and his character at large being more traditional. I respect all the people out there who ship him with Kross and whoever ships him with Erik and Brodik too I guess, just as I respect the possible OT3s and such that you can put him in with Rune Factory, but this is just how I’ve chosen to write him. The main point here is the latter, that Raguna is monogamous and would not have a harem or lure girls into thinking he’s more than friends unless he wanted to be more than friends. And in that case I can’t see my Raguna being able to share intimate romantic love with more than one person in a healthy way. He wouldn’t understand the concept of loving more than one person at once. He’s very much all in with relationships as my ship partners will attest.
