Long ago, when the Goddess was still in the land of Fodlan, four of her most precious children were the closest to her at all times. That is because these children of hers were not birthed on Fodlan, but rather, from the land whence she came, the land of gods.

These children were to be her successors should she had fallen. They were purely bred into deities, gods themselves.

The eldest of all the siblings, they spread the knowledge that their dear mother had taught them when they lived in land of gods to their other lesser siblings.

The eldest out of the four precious children was Annabelinda, who’s prayers would create miracles for mortals.

The second eldest was Tiamat. Known for her powerful black magic, she was able to keep the invader Agarthans at bay alone.

The third eldest was Chusi, known for her gift to spread kindness and wisdom with her tome made back in the land of gods. She often spent her time with some of the lesser siblings.

And the youngest was Tanit. Said to have powers very similar to the Goddess Sothis, she was a powerful warrior of all magic and wisdom. She led her siblings into battle against the Agarthans often. She was favored the most by her mother.

Sadly, they were all massacred in their sleep, along with Sothis herself. Tanit was the last one standing, records say, before the leader of Those Who Slither In The Dark slayed her. None survived, and no god was left to succeed Sothis.

Some say they have seen Tanit herself wandering with a group of mercenaries, but none of the sightings have been confirmed.

So in the AU, Seteth has a book in his desk locked away explaining the four children gods that were birthed before descending upon Fodlan. They were to succeed Sothis should she had died. Very unfortunately, they were killed all alongside Sothis in their sleep on that fateful day. Tanit had woken up and fought with a mighty rage, but eventually she fell too.

Seteth also told tale of the possibility of Tanit being reincarnated, but nothing has shown the possibility of that being true. Or so they think. They are unaware that Tanit herself is living among them.
