Was thinking about if Chuck had kept the booster in secret, the arm bands are to keep it hidden and the rest just cause he’s confident now and thinks he looks badass. His eyes still glow constantly but he just convinces everyone it’s cause of his cyborg upgrades and he’s actually always had glowing red eyes have you guys actually never noticed??? And then he kisses Texas, sorta as a rebound in this case but he does eventually get genuine feelings for him.

Uh so comic is: Texas watches film, thinks Chuck would like it, interrupts Chuck’s work, annoys him, endears him with his Texas charm, and then Chuck decides to kiss him, and walks off to finish work and leaves Texas starstruck.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I had another thought :(

Oh!! Chuck’s eyes glow with strong emotions as a sort of indicator that the Booster is going off. so like kissing Texas gives him an adrenaline rush basically and eventually becomes as addicting as the booster itself (because it easily triggers it)
