It felt like the most exciting day June has had since coming to Special Forces, the alliance with Piltover, a scientifically and magically advanced city, from a Realm they yet knew little of. Most vitally of all for the young experiment, there came an opportunity she thought she’d never have:
June is collaborating with another scientist!
It was something her handlers discouraged, they always said that she was smart enough to do most of everything by herself, by any means necessary. Not this time, this required Runterran knowledge, and a new mind to work with. She was to meet Piltover’s finest, and she straightened out her military jumpsuit as he arrived.
She’d never seen another scientist dressed like him, so elegantly, so beautifully. Her eyes softened with awe, though she knew it was rather illogical of her to comment on his appearance, as handsome as he may be.
June was introduced to Viktor by her man handler, Dr. Erwin Dettwiler, a dull looking man who always threateningly loomed over her. ‘Great Thinkers Initiative, Project Aristotle, Subject 6... June.’ Calling her by her full experimental designation to dehumanise him in her eyes. She meekly stepped towards him, this small, tired thing, with bright blue-green eyes, fiddly hands and a slightly hunched posture.
“I-I look forward to our collaboration, Viktor.” She muttered out, the man in the white lab coat clearly looking distastefully. ‘June represents the best of Earth’s scientific advancement. I severely hope she will not... Disappoint.’
