How does the clean-up step work if I had to discard a card and had Archfiend of Ifnir and Generous Patron on the battlefield? Would I keep drawing and discarding until my opponents didn't have any creatures left?

Players don't get priority in the cleanup step unless an ability triggers because of something that happens in the cleanup step, such as Archfiend of Ifnir triggering. When something triggers in the cleanup step, that trigger will go on the stack and players will get priority as normal. There will then be another cleanup step after the first cleanup step. The turn won't end until there's a cleanup step in which nothing triggers and players don't get priority.In the scenario you describe, Archfiend of Ifnir will trigger for each card you discard. Those triggers will go on the stack and resolve one by one. Generous Patron will trigger for each creature that gets a counter from Archfiend's trigger, causing you to draw that many cards. When the new cleanup step starts, you'll have to discard to hand size again, which will trigger Archfiend again, which will trigger Patron again, etc. This process will continue until either your opponent has no creatures left that can get -1/-1 counters or you lose from drawing your whole deck.

Hey, I was playing a game of commander and my buddy was playing a Saskia deck. I had 2 opponents at 10 , and I reanimated his commander, Saskia, and named the third person as the target for the etb. I then attacked, and dealt 20 combat damage the owner of Saskia. I then said that the triggered ability would go on the stack to kill the third opponent, but the owner said on resolution that since there is no more Saskia, there is no more chosen player, it fizzles. Do I win or not? Thanks!

While it's true that Saskia leaves the game when her owner does, her trigger still exists and resolves normally. No, there isn't currently a chosen player, but the ability can look at who the chosen player was when Saskia last existed on the battlefield and use that information to determine who Saskia deals damage to. In other words, you win! Yay!

How does Alpine Moon interact with Tron lands? It is my understanding that naming one of them (Urza's Tower) will shut them all down as it loses its land type and that is what they check against. My friends insist That it will only shut down the one I name as it doesn't change the name of the card and that is what they check. Gatherer has no information on this interaction. Can you point me in the direction of which rules apply here?

Alpine Moon will remove the named land's subtypes and abilities. In the case of the Tron lands, this means that none of them can be tapped for multiple mana because their mana abilities check the subtypes of other lands you control.If you look at the Oracle text of these cards, you'll notice that there's a hyphen in Power-Plant both on the type line of Urza's Power Plant and in the abilities of the other two cards, but not in the name of Urza's Power Plant. This is your clue that you're looking at subtypes rather than card names, as a subtype must be a single word (in English at least), leading to hyphenated subtypes such as Power-Plant and Assembly-Worker. The Tron lands each have two subtypes: Urza's and Mine, Power-Plant, or Tower.If the Tron lands were going to look at names, the ability would be worded "If you control a land named Urza's Power Plant and a land named Urza's Tower, ..." rather than just listing the subtypes, which indicates that you're looking for permanents with those subtypes

If I control Thantis, the Warweaver and Master of Cruelties, but no other creatures, what attacks would be legal to make? Does this change if I control a third creature?

Thantis wants all of your creatures to attack but Master of Cruelties can only attack alone, so you can't fulfill both requirements to attack here without violating a restriction. Since you can only fulfill one requirement, you can choose which of the two creatures to attack with.If you have three creatures that can attack, then you have to attack with everything other than Master of Cruelties because that fulfills two out of three requirements, which is the most possible and thus the only legal choice as you must maximize the number of requirements you meet.

Something I ran onto on Arena today, I went to get two Discover // Dispersal with my Invent, but when i clicked the first one it saw I had chosen an instant and a sorcery and didn't let me choose another card. Is this the intended behaviour, or should I be able to get two copies of a split card with both types of Invent's effect?

Yes, this works just fine.While Discovery//Dispersal is both an instant card and a sorcery card, it's still only one card and so you can choose one as the instant card and one as the sorcery card.

If Arena isn’t letting you take two copies, it’s a bug.

Hello! With March of the Multitudes and convoke, if I have a way to untap a creature, say with the Vizier of Remedies-Devoted Druid combo, can I tap the Devoted Druid as many times as I can to pay into the convoke cost?

No, this won't work. You tap creatures for convoke at the same time you pay mana and other costs for the spell. It's too late to activate any abilities, even mana abilities. Of course, you could just generate a million mana with your Druid before you start casting March of the Multitudes and take advantage of the combo that way.

If I am searching my deck, can I cast Panglacial Wurm using Mana from Millikin if the only Panglacial Worm that is is my deck, which I am looking to cast, is on top of my deck?

Yes, this is perfectly fine so long as you start to cast Panglacial Wurm before you make mana with Millikin. When you cast a spell, the first thing you do is move the card from its currently location to the stack, so Panglacial Wurm leaves your library and is no longer the top card. This means that when you activate Millikin, something other than Panglacial Wurm will get milled off.

Will Angel's Grace save you from losing the game effects from cards like Chance for Glory?

Yes.Angel's Grace will stop you from losing the game for any reason this turn short of you conceding to your opponent. This works well for "lose the game" triggers like those on Pacts or Chance for Glory.
