Wil- What can we do if the nightmare scenario happens and the DNC decides Bloomberg is their man? I want to believe it will never happen, but then again 4 years ago I was laughing at the idea of Trump getting the Republican nomination. What do we do if both options are equally reprehensible?

So first of all, that isn’t going to happen. The DNC doesn’t make the decision, the voters in the democratic primary make the decision, and I have faith in my party to defeat Bloomberg before we come together and defeat Trump.

Second of all, there is NEVER ANY EQUIVALENCE BETWEEN TRUMP AND ANY OF THE DEMOCRATS. There is no “both sides” or “they are equally corrupt”. Trump is the most corrupt, dishonest, criminal president in history.

But if Bloomberg somehow manages to buy himself the nomination, I will campaign for him, work as hard for him as I would a candidate I’m excited about, because the number one priority for anyone who cares about stopping Fascism is defeating Trump and Trumpism.

That said, I am all-in for Warren, for many reasons, but at the moment, she is the only candidate who has pledged to hold Trump, Barr, Miller, DeVos, Chao, and the rest of this corrupt transnational crime syndicate masquerading as a government.

All of her plans reflect my values, and I hope America chooses her to lead us out of the darkness. But if it’s not to be, I’ll fight for anyone -- even the aspiring 90s corporate democrat Mayor Pete -- because Donald Trump and his criminal administration are destroying my country.

How does Alpine Moon interact with Tron lands? It is my understanding that naming one of them (Urza's Tower) will shut them all down as it loses its land type and that is what they check against. My friends insist That it will only shut down the one I name as it doesn't change the name of the card and that is what they check. Gatherer has no information on this interaction. Can you point me in the direction of which rules apply here?

Alpine Moon will remove the named land's subtypes and abilities. In the case of the Tron lands, this means that none of them can be tapped for multiple mana because their mana abilities check the subtypes of other lands you control.If you look at the Oracle text of these cards, you'll notice that there's a hyphen in Power-Plant both on the type line of Urza's Power Plant and in the abilities of the other two cards, but not in the name of Urza's Power Plant. This is your clue that you're looking at subtypes rather than card names, as a subtype must be a single word (in English at least), leading to hyphenated subtypes such as Power-Plant and Assembly-Worker. The Tron lands each have two subtypes: Urza's and Mine, Power-Plant, or Tower.If the Tron lands were going to look at names, the ability would be worded "If you control a land named Urza's Power Plant and a land named Urza's Tower, ..." rather than just listing the subtypes, which indicates that you're looking for permanents with those subtypes

Maro: When (not if) we eventually get more Un-sets and have cards for Spike, Mel, and Vorthos, will there be an effort to make the art more inclusive? As these cards are supposed to literally represent the different demographics, it would be nice if they visually did as well.

Wil: Re: the wittneydoll post. I feel there is unneccessary harsness here. Some of us are 'essential' workers, working from home or still going to a job and have 2+ kids at home. Kids that we are now being required to home school in addition to our normal 8+ hour a day job. Kids who are scared themselves and have had their routines broken and are acting out because of it. So some of us make jokes about breakfast wine and wishing schools were open to cope. It doesn't mean we don't love them.

For what its worth, the only facebook pages I could find with "I Hate Wil Wheaton" were based on your BBT character (one specifically from Sheldon Cooper's perspective), and notne of them have had any activity in a couple of years. Hopefully that helps you feel a little better!

That’s pretty funny. I didn’t look at the link (I don’t need that kind of negativity in my life) so I just presumed it was by one of those people who let the idea of me live in their heads rent-free (which I guess, in a way, it was!)

I am curious, and understand if you don't feel comfortable explaining this, but why was it so important for the intro to the Welcome to the Dungeon Tabletop episode for you to rewear the same shirt? It is not the same shirt you wear during the gameplay, and since we never see the corrupted intro, I'm don't think there would be any continuity issues. What am I missing?

I don’t remember, because it was over a year ago. I’m sure it made a lot of sense to me at the time.

Wil: Despite what any of us think about Trump, can we agree to leave Baron out of it? He's just a kid. He didn't get to pick who his father was. He has no ability to control his father's actions, policies, or outbursts. Trump may not be above using him to forward his own purposes, but I'd like to think the rest of us are better than mocking him (or reposting things that mock him) when his life is probably already tough enough already.

Yes, children should be left out of their parents’ political lives. I admire and applaud your compassion for this child.

That said, three things: 1) Trump doesn’t give a shit about Barron, and Barron is, if anything, terrified of him. You can see it in the body language whenever they are around each other. You can read stories about Trump being a violent, abusive father to his other sons. He cares as much about Barron as he cares about a random homeless person.

2) I can’t believe that anyone honestly believes that the kid even saw that dumb picture, and if he did, at _eleven_ years old, thought it was real. That just defies all logic.

3 )The idiot assholes who are in the cult of Trump are using his son right now because it serves them. Trump and his enablers brought the kid into this, so maybe direct any outrage about it in their direction.

It’s tragic that this kid has shitty parents. Lots of people have shitty parents, and they overcome it without the wealth and privilege that the Trump children have. Barron’s going to be fine.

You mentioned that Green is the best creature tutoring color, but isn't it also the best land tutoring color? Green is the color that can search for any land type and is often the color that can tutor up multiple lands with the same card.
