literally i’m sorry but all i keep thinking about is how british shows always end after like three seasons and you’re furious about it but then realise they ended in the right way and didn’t get dragged out for years with *the most* disappointing endings

I have had some very sweet and kind anons asking me this week if we are getting a Flicker of Hope update soon. Instead of answering them multiple times, I’m gonna do it here.

I’ve got a good bit of the next chapter written. Unfortunately I have hit a severe writers block that I’m convinced is being caused by my anxiety.

My job is very stressful right now and my body and mind have literally stopped functioning except to do the minor and daily routine tasks I do. I spent all of yesterday without my phone in hopes that that would help me a little.

That being said, I have not abandoned this story in any way. I love Flicker of Hope and I have every intention of finishing it.

Thank you all for being kind and understanding. I am working on myself and getting myself the help I need to feel better. I’m also working on finding a new job, so I’m hoping that will happen soon and I’ll be a little less exhausted and stuck.
