Cicada Blocking

It was nice having a day off once in a while. It gave Ellana a chance to pilfer a new set of books from the library, horde the kitchens, and find a nice, quiet part of the garden to relax in.
As she was descending the stairs to the garden, a sudden shadow leaped at her, pinning her against a corner. She screamed and dropped the armful of books and pastries, ready to fight until she saw who it was.
“Inquisitor!” she gasped. “What–what in the Void are you doing?!”
Pelle at first looked slightly determined, like a Dalish hunter who’d finally caught their prey. However, after hardly a second’s passing the look faded. Hair--this person had hair...
This was not Solas.
What he was hoping for? An egg headed elven mage who had been blowing him off for days over some disagreement on an ancient ruin they’d found. Pelle had finally gotten sick of Solas talking down to him on the low and had chosen to show Solas that he was not as dim witted on the topic as Solas would have liked to believe. Solas, did not like being shown up, he had too much pride for that, and so he had proceeded to ignore Pelle since. That was now a week ago and Pelle did not take well to silent treatment no matter how much he insisted to Varric it did not bother him.
To be fair, Solas wasn’t entirely ignoring him. If it was something to do with the Inquisition, Solas would speak if spoken to and that only if he was asked advice, though he would quickly remind Pelle that if he was so smart that he shouldn’t need advice. If he was not doing that, he only answered Pelle’s words with vague statements and refused to explain.
So technically, no he wasn’t actually ignoring Pelle, more undermining him in such a way that it made Pelle feel like he was being ignored.
So Pelle had thought to trap the elf in a corner and ask him what the hell his problem was. A little aggressive of a thing to do for Pelle but he was running out of patience.
“Oh--” Was the first thing that came out of his mouth. “I--I’m sorry I thought you were someone el--” And then at that moment, Solas, the elf of the hour, had wandered right past him.
“Someone else--” Pelle murmured sparing a quite venomous glare at Solas.
