The restraining hands of the Fal'cie; hands usually ethereal and unseen yet binding all the stronger for it, hands of artificial soulless things that are more programmed machine than creature; tangle the body and smother the voice. But his hands; hands trapped and tangled, but hands of a human strong in mind and will; can still grip and pull at the wires of the machine.

Please release villains in casual fashion in Dissidia Duellum next year!!!

I love the heroes, but I want to see the villains get a chance to shine in Dissidia Duellum. Villains deserve better.
Some villains I hardly ever see in dissidia, hopefully they will be back one day, Seymour guado X, Caius Ballad XIII-2, and Zenos yae galvus XIV.
Other villains are anti heroes. I don't see as much. But want to see them return are Cid Raines XIII, Rufus Shinra VII, Seifer VIII, Emet-selch XIV, Snow XIII and Jihl Nabaat XIII.
Now we have final fantasy XVI, I think it's going to Barnabas Tharmr, Benedikta, or Hugo Kupka for the main new villain in ff16. I'll be waiting for who is coming in Dissidia Final Fantasy Duellum.
Honestly, I need all of them to return once again. But I doubt that.
Anyways, these are my personal thoughts for the upcoming Dissidia Duellum in 2026. ~🪻

The reveal that Raines was a Sanctum l'Cie is always so funny to me. Not in a funny "hahah" way but in an incredulous "What did you think was gonna happen, my guy? You curated your entire military division to be full of anti-Sanctum dissidents. Of course someone was gonna notice" way.
