being a feminist in fandom spaces blows i dropped vampires smp because everyone made it about the boys and i'm so close to doing the same thing with witch hat atelier or at least blocking the orufrey tag

i kinda get that in some fandoms where theres no reason for female characters to be as overlooked as they are (as in, they are nicely written and have as much if not more depth than male characters, which is how things should be -> project sekai, wha and vsmp)

but sometimes the authors just dont gaf about the women and reduce them to archetypes or two dimensional characters who just serve to appeal to the audience, which makes them less prominent or liked in fandom spaces (cough cough -> hoyoverse, shonens)
