Everyone's all "go out and vote" and all this stuff about antics at polling places, so does america not do a postal vote? 'cause I've voted like twice despite never having been to a polling place because the rules are less like "if you're not IN australia you post your vote" and more "if you expect to be limited, for a variety of accepted reasons, in your ability to get to a voting booth, post your vote instead." they rarely even check your reason's legit. it's great, America doesn't have that??

Absentee ballots are a thing. I used one in the last election and at least two people I know used them this year. You don’t even need a reason you can’t make it to the polls in person in over half the states. In my state you do, but the accepted reasons include being absent from your town the whole day, illness, disability, religious reasons, etc.

my first kiss was awkward? fun story, at the tail end of highschool i started dating a guy from church and we used to kiss REALLY awkwardly. He was like 6′3″ for starters. i had to pull his head down to kiss him for the first time. we dated for like 3 months and never progressed to any tongue. it was all very innocent.

i ??? i guess i love that im direct and confident and good with people and outgoing. and i love that i am not afraid to tell the people i love that i love them.

we burned our bookshelf at the house in edmonton before we left. so. mid august.

I love sunsets!!! also me and mornings dont get along so when i see a sunrise it’s more ‘fuck did i stay up that late?’ lol
