Can we get an MC and sibling Drabble from when they were kids ???
Sure! (Just a small side note: The MCs siblings were all adults while you were growing up, being much older than you.)
"Why won't it stop crying?" Christian hisses, auburn curls in complete disarray as he bounces the delicately swaddled form in his arms. "Are they supposed to do this? Is this one defective--" Dawning horror grows in forest-green eyes. "Did I break it? Did I break our little sibling?"
"No, you didn't break them, Christian," Persephone cajoles gently, easily swooping in to take her baby sibling in a warm embrace. Amber eyes filled with adoration, she coos. "You're just cranky aren't you, little one? Being kept up for so long must have you all out of sorts."
At the sound of her soothing voice, you slowly settle down, wide eyes staring up at the newest person to appear. A gummy smile sent her way causes Persephone's own to grow that much more, even as Christian sulks next to the now empty cradle, arms crossed over his chest.
"Sure you get the tail-end of the storm I had to deal with and reap all the rewards," Christian pouts, bottom lip jutted out. "Completely unfair, I think."
Cienna, who had been more than happy to simply watch the chaotic mess that is her little brother, scoffs from her position on the windowsill. Sharp eyes glint underneath the moonlight that filters in through the glass backdrop, an elegant brow arched in derision. "We both know that Persephone doesn't have to try at anything when it comes to children, Christian." Gracefully, like a cat, the eldest slinks to her feet to stand beside her sister, electric blue eyes soften at the sight of your slumbering form. "It'll take a while for them to get used to us, Chrissy. They're in a completely new place than they were, I can't blame them for being a little scared. Can you?"
The frown lines across Christian's brow vanish at the question, his earlier indignity transforming into something else, something so much softer, a look that's rarely seen. Halting on the other side of Persephone, he looks down at the sleeping form, just like his sisters were, and allows a small smile to curl his lips. He may not be used to humans, may not be used to babies, even more so, but he knows he'll love getting used to you.
"It's alright, little one," he coos gently, tracing a soft line down your smooth cheek. "No one is going to hurt you now. You're never going to be alone again, okay? You have us now, and we'll never leave you."
Persephone and Cienna agree with gentle whispers, "Never."
And, as you slumber on, a soft smile curls your lips, as if you had heard everything he had said, and the promise that had been agreed upon between the three, which brings a lightness to the three siblings watching you now.
It'd be a promise that'd stay with you your entire life. Never to be broken.
