Should I do a "Ciestess reacts to dds" series? I'm not willing to release my face or voice, but I could make text posts after watching sections of that YouTube playthrough. I admit, I'm curious about it now. (There wouldn't be a regular schedule for it, though)

if you did that i would absolutely follow it, i love seeing people react to things i like! and besides, watching new people get into dds is always fun, the fandom is pretty small, and so i like to show people if i can! even if its not playing, its still totally getting into something like that and honestly i’m kinda honored my description and love for it got you curious.

Hm. Things SEEM to be normal again. :/ I do primarily use the mobile app, so that might've affected it. And I didn't check on pc. But anyway, I'm glad you're (otherwise 😜) doing "alright." Best of luck with your thesis!

Ahhh, the old “there’s nothing here” message; now I see. I’m pretty sure I’ve experienced that before when using the Tumblr app for iOS--maybe not recently, but it’s not an unfamiliar experience. I checked Tumblr’s Zendesk site (where they ostensibly post announcements about bug fixes) and I’m not seeing any recent announcement addressing this issue specifically...

...oh, well. Don’t have time to look into the issue now. It’s odd that you couldn’t access your own posts, though, Hou; I’m not sure if I experienced that problem per se. (Still don’t know what’s up exactly with the Danidery ask response; I think I’m resigning myself to it being glitchy). Glad you’re back; I don’t exactly recall having issues w/your posts myself, but my memory isn’t always the most reliable? Then again, it might be that only some individuals are experiencing issues (otherwise I feel like we’d both have more asks inquiring into what’s going on.)

This is where my stories (and other various original works) will be posted. So if you only want to see those, this is the place to follow! I will only be posting the works themselves (and updates about them) on here, so following this one won’t blow up your notifications with things like random funny reblogs, pictures of Izaya Orihara, other people’s fanworks, more pictures of Izaya Orihara -- y’know, things like that.

April Fools OSW Competition!

Ever since totally NOT being a week late with the Valentine’s Day One-Shot Wednesday (nope, that didn’t happen), I realized it could be fun to have a little competition for Holiday-themed OSWs!

Basically how it works is this: starting about a month in advance, I’ll start accepting/storing requests for the holiday’s OSW, and the request that sounds the most entertaining AND closest to that holiday’s spirit wins!

Don’t worry about not winning, though. While the winning request will be the one posted on the Wednesday closest to the holiday, expect all of the requests to be written eventually!  (Unless I just get TOO many! A girl can dream, right?)

So for the April Fools OSW Competition, the most funny, strange, and unique request wins! (Bonus points if there’s pranking involved!)

Ok. I COULD just google it, but I've a feeling that you'll enjoy explaining and that your explanation will be more fun, so: What is a bouzouki?

A bouzouki is a type of stringed guitar, similar to a mandolin, to put it best!

This is mine! Her name is Baklava and she has 8 strings in 4 groupings, meaning that every string gets a buddy tuned to the same note as it. The two bass strings each have a string buddy that’s the same note but an octave higher.

I play a Greek bouzouki, but Irish bouzouki’s are also a thing and they look like this:

Greek and Irish bouzoukis sound similar, but are played with two different playing styles.

Here’s a cool video of a dude playing Greek bouzouki. He covers a lot of different Greek playing techniques and tbh he is goals. Greek bouzoukis are typically solo instruments, usually accompanied by guitars or, in this case, keys to provide the chords.

This video, on the other hand, is of a dope ass Irish bouzouki player! You can hear it’s pretty deep into the folk genre. Idk much about Irish bouzouki playing but I think we can all agree this guy is awesome at it.
