భారత్ లో సిగరెట్లు తాగుతున్న మహిళల సంఖ్య రోజురోజుకు పెరుగుతుందట. మరోవైపు ధూమపానం చేస్తున్న పురుషుల సంఖ్య తగ్గుతుందట. గడచిన రెండేళ్లలోనే దేశంలో ధూమపాన ప్రియుల సంఖ్య 2 శాతం తగ్గిపోగా, అదే సమయంలో సిగరేట్‌ తాగడం అలవాటు చేసుకుంటున్న మహిళల సంఖ్య గడచిన 32 ఏళ్లలో డబుల్‌ అయ్యిందట. ప్రస్తుతం ఫిమేల్‌ స్మోకర్లు అమెరికా తర్వాత భారత్ లోను అత్యధికంగా ఉన్నారని  గ్లోబల్ టొబాకో స్టడీ  తెలిపింది.
