My good friend, Craig, puts on music shows in the Orlando area under the pugilistic nombre Punching Babies. He's got a big show with international acts coming up in Oct, which I heartily recommend, if you're into the punk rock (with a dash of pop thrown in). This is the poster he asked me to do to promote it.
I'm going to be restocking Shatterhand's vinyl section soon. Meaning you'll need to order NOW if you want any kind of color variants! There will only be the weird pink mix of their split with Nosecone Prophets. And only the dark purple version of their split with Cigarette Crossfire (not pictured above). Hell, if you feel like going crazy and ordering all of their UAR releases (maybe even all the variants) I'll come up with some kind of special for you too!

Chaos And The Art Of Dissent
It's been a busy couple of days here at the UAR office space! The new Shatterhand discs arrived two weeks ago and the artwork arrived yesterday. So 300 copies of their new album were shipped off to the UK for their tour next month! And speaking of tours I also got 25 copies of Cigarette Crossfire's full length CD in the mail yesterday which I assembled this afternoon in preparation for their first ever US tour that starts in just one week and finishes off at FEST! But this isn't the only new release that Unsane Asylum has to offer this month... We will be picking up a special tour 7" upon everyone's arrival in New York next Thursday that's limited to 200 copies. AND I (finally) sent off the order for the Nosecone Prophets/Shatterhand split yesterday. Speaking of... We're launching an Indiegogo campaign (which will be spoke of more in the near future) to help at least partially fund said release. Since it's very expensive to press records! So if you can click on the link below and have a peek that would be fantastic. Also Chaos And The Art Of Dissent is up and ready to be ordered in the webstore! Something hit me the other day... In 2012, alone, the number of UAR releases is going to DOUBLE! How did that happen!? Aside from knowing loads of amazing bands (which are also great friends), and being fortunate enough to travel to new and strange lands this year, I guess my IQ just dropped sharply if I decided to take on such a gargantuan task. So if you haven't been following me on facebook or perused the releases page lately here's what's up... Surely you all know about the 40 Hells 7" by now? I've only been talking about it for a year or so already... hah! That one hit it's full release at the end of July. And they're badass so everyone needs to check it out and order 5 copies already! Next up is the Nosecone Prophets/Shatterhand split 7" that should have been out months ago, and you should also know about too. The final artwork is completed on that one and you'll be hearing more about that VERY soon!
Here's where things start getting crazy... We had been kicking this idea around for a while since Cigarette Crossfire is coming over to tour the East Coast on their way to Fest. But it happened really quickly! We're doing a tour 7" that is already at the pressing plant! Right on it's heels are not one but TWO more Shatterhand releases! Their full length Chaos And The Art Of Dissent is already at the pressing plant! And we're also doing a free digi single (with an extremely limited number of free CDs that I will give away with orders upon request) to whet people's appetites for the full length and their upcoming tour in November. But there's still more!!! At the end of the year we're also doing the Nosecone Prophets full length! And, this one makes me ever so happy, a 7" with my good friends and adopted children The Commonwealth Of American Natives. Maybe even something else too... I really don't know anymore!
As you can imagine that means we'll need a LOT of funding to keep my credit card from getting maxed out. So let's do the viral promotion, punk rock family thing and spread the good word about Unsane Asylum! Tell your friends about the releases you really dig (that's all of them, right?). If there's something you've been meaning to pick up from the store for ages but kept forgetting, please do it! Don't care about hard copy releases at all? Then there's buy options for almost everything on the bandcamp page. There's just too many amazing things going on and already done here for a few more dollars to not be flowing into it all more regularly. Anyone that orders (and things are just as cheap if not cheaper for overseas with the conversion rates) gets free stickers and buttons too. Since I'm just cool like that. So let's get this insanity train rolling! There's still a few inches left in my new office to cram records...

This is amazing!!! VisionistFinland uploaded both The Phoenix Foundation and Cigarette Crossfire's (almost) entire set from when they played Helatorstai-klubilla on January 5th! It looks like these dudes film just about every show they attend too. Major fucking kudos for that kind of dedication! Thanks for pointing me to these, Ilkka!
