1) What was the last great story/book that you read? Although it's still a work in progress, I am fascinated by the world building and character work of Brian K Vaughn's Saga. I tend to overuse the word 'epic' but I get the sense that when it's done it'll be one of my all time favorite stories.
2) Who is your favorite musician/band ever? Rilo Kiley because I DARE you to listen to The Frug and not be charmed by Jenny Lewis
3) Do you dream in color or in black-and-white?
Ask me again tomorrow, I'll try to pay better attention
4) Do you believe in the concept of fate?
No, but I do believe in making the most of coincidences
5) Mountains or the sea?
The sea. I love the sense of looking out across something with no end in sight
6) Is there any place that you’d like to go to before you die? Why?
Not a particular place, no, but going anywhere with certain people is a necessity
7) Do you believe that reality is its own construct or that we create reality?
Hm, this one kinda ties back to the fate one, doesn't it? We're born into a reality that has been shaped by all people before us and in that sense we can only alter it in the most micro way. Though, the more local the reality is to yourself, the more you can alter it, I suppose.
8) What is your most frequent romantic fantasy?
Probably the surprise clinch against a wall or door of some sort but honestly romantic gestures in real life tend to embarrass me
9) What is the last great film that you have seen?
If Pitch Perfect doesn't count then I have to go with Drive. Over a year after seeing it my thoughts often return to that movie.
10) Do you like to dance?
No, but put a drink or two in me and my answer changes
11) If you could ask me any question - no matter how odd, personal, etc. - what would it be?
Is it true you enjoy the mystical season known only as 'winter'? I saw snow once and it was cold and terrifying.
