My Cigar Review: Aging Room Quattro F55
Wrapper: Sumatra 2003
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Dominican
The pre-light draw yielded notes of coffee, natural tobacco sweetness, and some cedar.
The coffee and tobacco were primary notes in the beginning, and the pepper took on the background role. Later in the first half, some citrus emerged into the flavor. The Quattro F55 then saw the citrus, tobacco and coffee notes interchange as far as which flavor was center stage. There were times the pepper also took command.
As the Quattro F55 moved into the second half, the pepper's role really took over, then spice took over in the last third. As the Quattro F55 came to a close, it was never harsh.
The Quattro F55 is a well-constructed cigar. This was reflected in the burn and draw. As far as a burn perspective, I found this cigar to burn straight from start to finish requiring no touch-ups at all.
The strength of the Quattro F55 has a little more punch than expected. It has enough strength to qualify as a medium to full strength smoke with some flavor depth. Very close to full-bodied cigar.
I'd also recommend this to someone who likes a well balanced medium to full strength/medium to full-bodied cigar. I would definitely recommend this cigar, and I would smoke again. Overall a excellent smoke!

Review of: Gurkha Ninja Knife
Wrapper - Brazilian Maduro
Binder - Cameroon
Filler - Nicaraguan
The Ninja has a beautiful bold Brazilian Maduro wrapper.
The the Ninja started out with medium strength. I initially noticed cedar spice and chocolate taste. There was an increase on the strength with the Ninja that would soon transform to the medium to full as you reached the middle third. In the middle third, the chocolate flavors would give way to more of a coffee note. Around 1/2 way into the cigar, I got some light oak flavor. Its strength began to kick in a little more but not too much. Toward the end of the cigar, I felt the Ninja never got harsh or bitter but continued to hold its own in a very good way.
The burn was almost perfect as was the draw, with big smoke output.
Overall, I found this one beautifully made cigar, and would highly recommend to anyone.
