Family Angus Crane, Lycan Anneliese Crane nee Davenport, Lycan Avery Monroe nee Crane, Lycan Anya Crane, Lycan Finnegan Monroe, Lycan or some other species Avery Monroe nee Crane, Lycan Cora Monroe, Lycan or some other species Anya Crane is the second daughter of Anneliese Crane and Angus Crane. She has an older sister named Avery Monroe nee Crane who is married to Finnegan Monroe and is the mother of Cora Monroe who is deaf in one ear, is around 5 years old, and sometimes communicates through sign language. Cora is very close to Anya and Anya often babysits her when her sister and brother in law need to do something or just want a date night out. She comes from a long line of Lycans and has been very neutral when it comes to the things that have been happening over the past few years. She knows that bad things can happen if someone tries and interferes with the politics that the different species have been up to lately and would rather keep herself, her family, and her friends safe. Best Friend/Love Interest Noah Last, Lycan Noah has been the one she has turned to a lot in the past, especially when it comes to keeping her family, especially her niece safe since she doesn't know what might happen if something bad happened. She has formed a strong bond with him over the years and they share a sort of silent chemistry that they don't really acknowledge just yet. On Noah's end, he is afraid that she might reject his advances and would rather have her as his friend instead of not having her in his life at all. Anya feels the same way and honestly someone needs to sit them down and force them to talk about their feelings. I have pictured him being played by Max Schimmelpfennig, but I am open to other actors as long as they sort of have German ancestry and will be played with a German accent. I think he would have moved here from Germany a while back and still sounds and acts like it. He would also know how to sign language so that he can speak with those who are deaf like Anya's niece and whoever else is in his life that is deaf or is hard of hearing.

WANTED: Characters in an Anastasia inspired plot
This is a wanted ad loosely inspired by the plot of the 1997 animated masterpiece, Anastasia, but you don’t have to have seen it or really know too much about it to participate. Just bring the right vibes and off we go~
Anyway, to sum up, the basic premise is that our Anastasia (Esme Harlow) is currently an essential part of a con-job involving the Dimitri and the Vlad with the Dowager Empress as their target. The DE is the last living member of a prestigous witch family (the Lombard’s who are throughly embedded in the current regime and were/are important figures in witch society) or so many have assumed. The real story is that the DE’s niece also survived the tragic attack on their family during the revolt but was believed drowned following a difficult escape. That niece just so happens to be our Anastasia, not that authenticity was ever a concern for the Dimitri or the Vlad who were prepared simply to find a good lookalike and go. Now the aim of their con is to take the DE’s reward money (something that she’s been offering on and off for several years in the hopes of finding her niece who she swears didn’t actually drown) but perhaps there might be something more valuable at stake...
In any case the Anastasia is surprisingly unaware of the true depravities of her fellow conmen, fully taken in by the promise of adventure and simply ‘exploring the possibility of an identity’. Or is she? She’s not quite as naive as they think and has an idea of the prize that’s at stake, not to mention the risk that she personally will be taking in the con. So anything goes... I mean there might be cause for a rift between the trio at some point.
Now, on the other side of things, is the Rasputin who was part of the group of individuals who murdered the Lombards during the revolt. They had something of a personal grudge against them and happily took part in a largely political plot organized against the witch family by another group. They were supposed to take the DE and the Anastasia hostage but suceeded only in capturing the Anastasia on a hazardous crossing of the sea. Nearly drowning her, they were forcibly stopped by the group before yet more hell broke loose and they lost track of her completely. Flash forward fourteen years and the Rasputin is in a very different state indeed, but who should come waltzing in to Salem but the little girl they almost killed all those years ago? Man, are they pissed.
THE ANASTASIA: (Taken by Bex)
(Witch) - Here for a good time and to find herself; unaware of her true family and all that history.
THE DIMITRI: (Open)
(Shifter/Ex-Familiar or Open) - A conman out to make their fortune and possibly assuage a guilty conscience. They might also have something of a past with the Lombards...
THE VLAD: (Open)
(Witch) - Cast out of the fold for illegal practices, they’re part of the con in the hopes of regaining their place in witch society. Currently functioning as a familial figure to the Dimitri and surprisingly cheery for an outcast.
THE RASPUTIN: (Open)
(Human/Fae/Vampire) - Here to wreak havoc and get their own personal revenge, whether they still have contact with the original group out to get the Lombards is another matter... The years have not been kind.
THE DOWAGER EMPRESS: (Open)
(Witch) - The last surviving member of the Lombards who still wields power in Salem. Of French origin, they might just be tiring of a hopeless search for a lost niece, assumed dead by everyone else.
