"Excuse me? I’m obviously talented. If you’d like to take a look at my list of experiences. I don’t understand why an audition is a requirement?"
He laughed, "I believe experience and talents are two separate things." Shaking his head whilst shutting his eyes, searching for the right words to explain his actions, "You may turn out to be the most talented of the bunch, but I will never know. Students join music as a bulge or with aspiring hopes with a talent they obviously don't have," pausing in his words, he looks up and stares at the female student. Experience or not, he would have to test her technique, her potential, and most importantly to him: her ambitions and passion, "How am I to know how to teach a student if I don't even know what level they current sit at of the instrument they play? It's more of a fair game, letting myself know if a student is serious about taking my subject."

Smiling rather surprised and satisfied the female seemed to agree with her, she accepts the handshake with a short nod of her head. “Cecilia Facilier. I’m still relatively new so it’s not that much of a surprise.”
"new or not, you and i are going to be fast friends" she retracts her hand back to her lap, smiling at the other female. "so, where are you from? new york? london? asgard? hell?"
“I can be flexible. As long as everything is exactly the way I want it, I’m totally flexible.”
she chuckles at the statement. “great minds think alike” she offers her hand to the other female in a welcome shake, “i’m surprise our paths haven’t crossed earlier. i’m camila and you are?”
"Stop staring at me!"

Yes. It was deemed as rude on her part. However, Kyros could explain.. well, not completely, but still. He wasn’t particularly staring at her, but he had never seen the female before, so seeing her in the Advanced Writing classroom where he had to pick something up from the teacher caught him off guard. Especially since she was the only one in there and she was quite the beauty. The timing was just all too bad, and she had caught his eyes when he just glanced at her. “Pardon? The last time I remembered, a glance was not considered staring…” He murmured under his breath, a confused expression plastering his face with his brows knitted together. Though she was a beauty, her personality was the total opposite of what he expected. She was enticingly interesting.
a thin string : past
it's four p.m. and she's sitting in front of a cafe, waiting. her phone is displayed on the table with her fingers tapping against the clear glass slowly next to it. she hates waiting. a small huff falls from her lips as nimble fingers tap in her password and start to type out a text message.
[ text : ceci ] don't tell me you stood me up for phelix again. you said you were going to show up this time. hurry up, will you?
the message is sending and the look on her face is a mix between irritation and sadness. how things ended up like this, penelope doesn't know. all she knows is that she's waiting for someone who doesn't care much for her anymore, but she doesn't let go. not yet.
Goodbye

"Cilia," he voice rang through the speakers, no hint of distress, but the usually chirpy attitude she chose to flaunt, "I don’t think I’ll make it back before curfew, something just caught my attention while I was out for a jog and I just had to feed my curiosity. Can you cover for me? I promise to bring back food and drinks~"
"Kisses won't make it better, but you can try."

As he looks at Cecilia, kind sorry for messing up with her, he couldn’t help a raise of eyebrows and a frown. “Are you even serious now?”, Daniel asks, laughing. “No, I’m not gonna try. For some reason I feel like you would hit me just by having that thought”, he points out, smirking. “Just a little reminder that you are the one putting it on my mind, by the way”.
