it’s funny that a bosmer (a fringe tribe, green pact worshipping one nonetheless!) would feel at home in the titanic, industrial world that is the clockwork city, but cilonwy does. or she feels most at home with its custodian—sotha sil must still feel tethered to life and growth when he’s replicated an ecosystem here.

she’s learned so much as the vestige: molag bal cruelly stole her soul but her eyes are very opened to the variety of tamriel, beyond the safe canopies of valenwood’s lush trees.

cilonwy should be the one being taught how to regain reality—she’s a husk for y’ffre’s sake—but she helps sotha sil instead. there are poor in his city, stop turning a blind eye. there’s danger, let’s regulate it. let me remind you that technically you’re a god, but you’re still a living & breathing person...

one day, when the vestige has her soul, when the clockwork city feels spores of greenery breaking through concrete paths and crannies, sotha sil lets cilonwy in. and she’ll give him a purpose again, and children 🤍🧚🏻‍♀️
