While working on preproduction for my comic, I decided to give Cinder her old bandana back with a redesign. It’ll probably change again in the future cause I can’t seem make a decision on how I want it to look. Ended up doing some angsty sketches too lol
If you were ever wondering how the cheetah species in my story would look if they were real, it'd be something like this! The first two sketches started out as studies (I paused this video at a couple parts and sketched the heads) then I ended up changing them into my characters haha
They are based on the species Acinonyx pardinensis which is a prehistoric giant cheetah. The spots are a weird mix of giraffe, cheetah, and leopard. Spot patterns and shapes can vary between characters, this just happens to be the most common type in their kingdom.
