Apollo 11?
I’ve seen this but it was too long ago for me to accurately rate it. Anyone seen Apollo 11 recently and care to share you thoughts?
Thanks!

None of the sounds were particularly emphasized or elongated. Below I will describe each of the segments in more detail.
“The Ballad of Buster Scruggs”- Singing, whistling, and grunting/fighting noises.
“Near Algodones”- Grunting, choking, breathing, crying, wailing/shouting of Native Americans.
“Meal Ticket”- Visible mouth movement when chewing (no accompanying sounds).
“All Gold Canyon”- The prospector grunts and moans often, some singing.
“The Gal Who Got Rattled”- Dog yipping, coughing and gagging briefly, eating is visible but not heard, wailing/shouting of Native Americans.
Throughout ALL- gunshots, horses neighing, nature sounds like birds and leaves.

Tons of instances of dogs eating, drinking, chewing, sneezing, and crying. Please avoid!

One scene with audible/visible chewing, at a diner. A dinner party scene with no focus on the food. Car engines revving and metal scraping. The opening scene in the book is full of heavy breathing, screaming, crying, and other sounds of distress and pain. There are more instances of this in Tony’s story. Susan’s part of the story is pretty safe in terms of noises. Michael Shannon’s character becomes sick and retches, coughs, and clears his throat towards the end.

A few very noticeable tongue clicking sounds. Occasional eating/drinking noises. Feedback through a loudspeaker. Chanting and yelling from crowds, as well as grunts and sounds of violence in the crowd scenes. I can’t remember exactly, but I think someone sings off key once. Brief whistling and humming. Pained moaning. Cocaine snorting sounds.

Chi Chi is chewing gum in nearly every scene. A man slurps some chili briefly. Occasional crying with sniffling. Noxeema makes exaggerated squealing noises throughout. A lot of snapping (with attitude!) and some uh-uh-uh’s with stereotypical head shaking (if you don’t get what I mean, you’ll have to see it to understand). A fun movie filled with some comedic noises.

Multiple instances of eating that have little audible chewing, but other sounds are focused on, such as a knife scraping on toast. I think Reynolds has some sound sensitivity and he gets frustrated when he notices these sounds. Both Reynolds and Alma speak in whispers often. Just one or two scenes of crying with minimal sniffling.

As you might expect from a superhero movie, there are plenty of action sounds and fighting noises. However, this isn’t any different sound-wise from any of Marvel’s other films. Valkyrie drinks often and belches once or twice, but not much of that is audible. Characters are tasered and scream throughout. Also, if you are not a fan of Led Zeppelin’s “The Immigrant Song,” stay away. Head into this movie prepared for lots of action, laughs, and a killer soundtrack.
