[Read on your bio that you like Soft Eclipse. Not entirely sure what you mean by soft, but it inspired me to write something short!!]
Your skin prickled, the feeling of an intent gaze raising goosebumps along your flesh. In the kitchen, you blearily poured coffee into a cracked mug, stirring in your desired additives and sipping it quietly. You knew he was there. "I can feel your eyes, you know," you murmured, turning to face the open walkway. There, in front of the living room doorway, stood your companion: a six-foot-tall Eclipse DCA model, sunset colours exploding across his body, wringing his hands nervously. His rays twitched, pulling briefly into his faceplate as you addressed him, and his feet shifted. "Sorry, Starlight," he mumbled, glancing down at the floor. "I heard you get up; I wanted to check on you." You tilted your head, a small smile playing at your lips. It was hard to believe that this animatronic—this shy, soft thing—was snappy and chock-full of attitude barely three months prior. You set the mug off to the side (it landed with a hollow clink; maybe you should get a new mug…) and padded over to your roommate, extending your hands upwards to gently grab his faceplate in your hands. His freckles lit up and his rays sine-waved happily, his own hands coming up to cover yours. "You're so sweet, Clipsy," you hum, caressing his cheek with a thumb. "I'm okay, don't worry." "M'kay," he replied softly, closing his eyes. You loved that damn robot…
