Sometimes I feel really bad for my first dnd character, Solakra, because as awesome and great as her story is, it ends up being background knowledge for my second dnd character, Tyosha.
Like all her ambitions, goals, and triumphs have almost become a footnote
And its because when the campaign got rebooted, I decided to run a new character who is haunted by my previous character. She never got a proper send-off, just a vague contract with some chaos being and poof
And because that dnd group disbanded, Tyosha's story will also linger the same, but at least hers is fully about her y'know?
We didn't even get far enough in the reboot to overlap with the previous go-through, and I'm sure I would have gotten insight bonuses on that stuff
You'd think that with 3 missed sessions that I would have a lot prepared for next dnd session
But no
I have fuck all and have to sleep
Luckily, I have pulled off sessions on far less preparation than what I havr for tomorrow so we'll see
Made a joke comment on a reddit post joking about how AI would often interpret people on reddit telling people to harm themselves as advice (i.e. "that's a great question! Reddit user dipshit73 suggests to take a long walk off a short cliff") and I got a warning because their AI thought I was telling people to harm themself/inciting violence
I suppose at that point I should have expected it tbh. The bot did what I was saying the bot would do
Had a person show up in a dream who has never been in my dreams before
Like, my dreams usually have a very distinct cast of a few people, with everyone else having nondistinct or blurred faces. Most of them are my family and one specific ex I had in high school who I had a very awkward falling out with over the course of a year or something
A few weeks ago I had a friend I've sometimes but extremely infrequently show up in a dream and last night I had a mutual friend of the ex and I (though he was really more the ex's friend than mine) show up
Obviously this doesn't mean anything, just kinda neat
Sick of finding a cool game that has a demo, getting the demo, and then by the time I get around to actually playing it, I find that the devs took down the demo because the full game was out. If you take down your demo, I'm not buying your game.
The only exception to this is games that inherently require the devs to host a server for it to run, so keeping the demo means running more servers. Like I don't resent Starseekers for taking down the demo for their inherently multiplayer game, but I'm not interested enough to pay $8 for Whimsy Bake & Craft and deal with the refund process (or be out $8) if I don't like it, especially when I could have tried it out first
I have completely written out plans for multiple animatics for waterparks songs
Now I just have to grt enough drawing practice in to shake the rust since last time I drew regularly
Then maybe MAYBE actually learn anatomy
