a book I'm reading/want to read: okay i'm currently reading "I who have never known men" by jaqueline harpman and "lolita" by vladimir nabakov (lots of heavy subject matter i know 😭), and the next novels i'm going to read are "east of eden" by john steinbeck (SO excited to read this one), "the open road" by jean giono, and "on the road" by jack kerouac (definitely a theme here lol but i'm really excited to start these)

my comfort movie(s): top gun, pretty woman, basically all of the 90s and 2000s rom coms, legally blonde, home alone (1 and 2), the princess diaries (mostly the first one but i like both), lord of the rings trilogy (i think everyone forgot but i was REALLY into lotr this past summer and i wrote a couple fics for it that are still up on my masterlist)

my favorite song right now: obsessed with lana del rey atm! my favorite album is "Norman Fucking Rockwell!" (which is where I get my username from btw!), but my favorite lana songs atm are "Wild at Heart" (inspired my hal fic of the same name), "Living Legend," "Arcadia," "White Dress," "Ride" (the music video!!!!!!!! everyone needs to watch it it's literally cinema), "Henry, come on" and "Bluebird" (singles from her new/next album), and basically the whole NFR album (i love older lana too though)

a series i could reread a thousand times: gl 1990, the spectre 2001, emerald dawn i and ii, the last will and testament of hal jordan, i can't think of the rest of them off the top of my head but yeah my favorite gl comics

my favorite show of all time: supernatural (i used to be SO into that fandom back in the day on a different tumblr account), dance moms, attack on titan

my favorite way to relax right now: sweatpants, dinner, a hot shower, and vegetating on the couch watching tv (currently obsessed with "the rookie")

a kids show i never got over: all the dc shows, obviously, but specifically DC Superhero Girls/Superhero High was MY SHIT back in the day, also I loved Ever After High

something i am looking forward to: i have a couple writing contests and piano solo competitions coming up so that's exciting (and kinda scary lol), also i'm excited to read the books on my tbr!

(bonus) fun fact about me: i'm from southern usa (i live in texas rn but i'm originally from arizona) and i'm a college student! studying literature/philosophy and piano performance 😌💗

i hope this doesn't come across as rude but is there a reason you don't tag your fics as fem! reader?

this wasn't even something I was really aware of until a few people brought it to my attention recently, so I will start tagging my works as gn or fem from now on! (honestly it just never crossed my mind) most of my works are gn, but some have fem descriptions so I'll start adding that tag.

the fanfic author curse really hit me because why have i gotten in TWO car accidents two days in a row 😭😭 yesterday i got my tail light broken in a parking lot and my blinker is now all messed up, plus the door sensors were already messed up and now they're even worse so my car always thinks the doors are open and beeps constantly and the interior lights don't turn off now, and then TODAY i WATCHED someone in the parking lot (i was inside the building in class) JAM their car against mine and hit me like 5 times in a row trying to park next to me so now it's probably even more messed up. so if i have stroke you know why

(anyway, not going to post on IG ever again. that social media is fucked up. i feel bad about myself all the time i post something. people use it to point out where you're a loser and make fun of you, while i use it to point out where i'm funny because i'm a nerdy loser. IG users don't get It(TM) the way tumblr users do! im gonna be unapologetic and won't even delete what i posted. fuck everyone. you big crowd of bullies!)
