Arguably the funniest thing they could do now is imply stonathan in the epilogue
While I’m still thinking about Lizzie and Cleo I just want to say how quick Lizzie was to label things as a betrayal.
Like with Cleo leaving the fairy fort or Ren joining forces with Cleo Scott and Pearl. Both are things that aren’t really betrayals, especially since Lizzie and Ren were not even allied when he teamed with Cleo, but Lizzie still referred to them as such.
I think it’s a defence mechanism. She would rather view them as people who had malicious intent from the start, (“I knew I could never trust you”) rather than entertain the thought that maybe they did care about her, but ultimately they cared about another thing more, and they placed that above her worth to them.
Michael presenting his lore through a radio broadcast is such a cool concept and it makes his character feel wholly unique. It’s a great way to hear his characters thoughts without feeling too stiff, and really adds to the conspiracy theorist vibe.
Me (a fool) last week: wow I’m sure glad that joel isn’t all alone this season!!
What fucks me up the most about Jimmy’s death this season is that this time there’s no one to mourn him. In 3rd life he had his husband to avenge him and give him a proper burial, but this time he dies and it doesn’t matter to anyone
