If possible, could I maybe get some headcanons for Cioccolata & Secco with a reader who has the personality of a golden retriever? Like they’re super friendly and energetic and affectionate and stuff :3

You are the ONLY source of genuine warmth in their entire lives and it shows immediately. The contrast is insane. You’re all smiles and “hi hi hi!! :D” and they’re… those two.

From the moment you meet Cioccolata, he clocks you instantly. Not stupid, just… soft. Open. Eager. The kind of person that wants approval. And that? Oh he loves that.

Meanwhile Secco is immediately obsessed. Full on puppy imprinting. Once he got the OK from Cioccolata, he follows you everywhere like you adopted him.

You’re all smiles, bouncing around, talking a mile a minute, touching Cioccolata’s arm, laughing like he’s normal, and he’s just watching you like he’s already decided something about you.

“You’re very affectionate,” he says, tilting his head.

And you’re just like, “Yeah! I like people :D”

That’s when he decides- you’re the type that thrives under attention.

Which means… you’re very easy to guide.

If Cioccolata approves of you, Secco adores you. If Cioccolata claims you? Secco sees you as part of them.

You’re naturally affectionate, hugging them, leaning on them, holding onto their sleeves, and instead of being confused, Cioccolata encourages it.

Not gently. Not sweetly. More like: “Come here.” “Stay.” “Good.”

And you don’t even realize how quickly you start responding to it.

He praises you, but it’s controlled. Intentional. “That’s it. Just like that.” “You listen so well, don’t you?”

You light up under his attention. Like visibly. You start seeking it out without realizing. Glancing at him for approval, waiting for that small nod, that faint smile. He notices every single time.

Secco doesn’t command you like Cioccolata does, but he’s clingy. If Cioccolata says “come here,” Secco is already pulling you closer.

If Cioccolata praises you, Secco gets excited too, like you did something good for all of them.

You call them cute sometimes, because you literally cannot help yourself. Secco is absolutely thriving. You call him cute and he’s practically vibrating.

You hover near Cioccolata before hugging him, and he’ll either:

Pull you in suddenly

Or make you wait just a second longer than necessary

He likes how reactive you are. The way you perk up when he acknowledges you. The way you soften when he praises you. The way you get just a little quieter when he’s serious. You’re expressive, easy to read, and he uses that.

Secco, meanwhile, treats you like something precious but also his. He’ll cling to your side, rest against you, follow you around.

If someone else tries to get too close, there’s gonna be immediate tension. He doesn’t like sharing your attention with anyone other than Cioccolata.

You’re still super friendly with others, because that’s just who you are. Cioccolata finds that… irritating.

Not outwardly at first. But you’ll notice his tone gets sharper. His attention on you gets more intense afterward. He’ll call you back over with that quiet “Come here.” He’s reminding you where your attention should be.

Secco gets more openly jealous. Tugging at you, pulling you back, making small noises until you refocus on him. If you pet his head or reassure him, he calms down instantly.

Cioccolata doesn’t get loud about jealousy. He just… removes the problem. Or redirects you so smoothly you don’t even realize what happened.

You bring them little gifts still, snacks, trinkets, random cute things. Secco treasures them like gold. Cioccolata accepts them with a faint smile and a quiet, “How thoughtful.”

And you feel SO proud when he says that.

You’re very “I love you guys!!” energy. Secco takes it literally and immediately. Cioccolata coos at you, and he’s also filing that away for later.

Secco ends up acting like your guard dog. Always close, always watching, always reacting to your mood. If you’re happy? He’s calmer. If you’re upset? He’s restless, agitated.

They’ve both become completely attached to you in their own ways: Secco: emotionally dependent, clingy, protective Cioccolata: possessive, fascinated, in control

You are quite literally the only soft thing in their world.

And they are NOT letting that go.

Ask: We all know cioccolata has those tapes from when he was a doctor on a shelf in his home, so do you think he's ever shown his darling them?

♧ Cioccolata shows you his tapes of torture because he’s proud of himself, not because he wants to scare you into submission. He won’t expect you to sit through the entire thing but it’s nice to see how much you can fathom before leaving or begging him to turn it off.

♧ Cioccolata’s never been discreet about them at any point in your relationship. You’d walk in on him analyzing the tapes since he likes reviewing his work. He takes note of the methods used to determine whether or not it was effective.

The last thing he wants is to get sloppy so he must be critical of every single detail. You probably didn’t look at the small screen long enough to realize he was watching his snuff tapes.

♧ You could also just find out through curiosity, searching the shelves for a movie to play only to pop in one of those grotesque home videos. For a moment you think it’s a horror movie until you see Cioccolata step into the frame. All you can do is eject the tape and try not to have a panic attack knowing that sick fuck is in the other room.

♧ You should never ask questions you don’t want the answer to. So don’t ask him why he has the tapes. Don’t even ask him if he’d do it to you. It’s annoying and you’d only hear what you want in the end.

You’d still believe you were next or that he’s waiting for the perfect moment to cut you up, as if you’re worth the trouble. You’re better off resuming like normal and staying on their good side.

Secco Catches You

The thought of you trying to escape the duo is laughable because of how well they use their stands. Now obviously Cioccolata isn’t about to use Green Day to capture you when it’d be certain death. You’ll literally turn to mush the minute your foot hits the ground again. It’s Secco, master of the dirt, that comes after you on his command.

It sucks because Cioccolata knows Secco will take advantage of the opportunity to beat the hell out of you once he finds you. It’s much worse when Cioccolata isn’t around to tell him when to stop and just how much you can suffer before he’s gone too far.

Secco doesn’t emerge from the ground completely when he sees you, coming up just a bit to spit a rock at your lower back. It doesn’t go through you completely but it hits your skin hard enough to create a large gash. The rock might as well have been a bullet with the pain it caused, you’re sent to the ground the minute it strikes you. All you can do is claw at the ground in front of you, trying your hardest to put some distance between you and Secco.

While you’re scrambling pathetically, he comes out of the ground. Asking where the fuck you’ve been as he walks over to you, kicking you hard enough to turn you onto your back. You don’t get the chance to answer, as soon as you lock eyes with Secco he starts attacking you. Not at all worried about the bystanders that turn their heads at the chaos unfolding in the park. Surely you didn’t think a sea of nobodies would stop him from beating you within an inch of your life.

Once you’ve been reduced to a limp, bloody mess, Secco pulls you into his arms to bring you home. It’s unlikely that you’ll get another round of beatings from Cioccolata when he sees how bad you look. Secco banged you up pretty good, there’s no need for him to lift a finger. He’s proud of his sweet boy and doesn’t seem to care that your chances of walking without an aid are slim to none after getting that rock to the spine.

♥︎ He knows it’s hard, the first few times. Watching people suffer. At least for the child, because lord knows he never flinched at the sight of human misery. Cioccolata loved, no, he craved it. Whether it’d be silent suffering, succumbing to an illness, a ruthless hacking, or the panic that comes from not knowing what comes next.

♥︎ Either way, the child, his child, wasn’t him. She wasn’t Secco, and she wasn’t you. Didn’t matter the DNA or the fact that Cioccolata wanted her to be like him in some ways. He understood that at the end of the day, his little girl was going to be who she wanted. Right now, she’s terrified by the sight of ripped flesh and disfigured bodies.

♥︎ He won’t scold her for it, instead he’d soothe her as if he wasn’t the reason Secco showed her a glimpse of his handiwork. Hold her against his chest as she trembles and cries, not truly understanding what she saw only knowing that it disturbed her spirit. He’ll give her quick kisses along her forehead as he repeats that it’s okay and that she’s safe. Nothing can ever hurt her, because he won’t allow it.

♥︎ As she begins to relax and the sobbing dies down into little sniffles and stray tears, Cioccolata apologizes to her. In a soft voice he gives her a childlike explanation of what she saw, something along the lines that it was daddy’s job, nothing scary. He won’t put the two together, that botched corpses and excessive amounts of blood were a bad thing. It’ll leave her room to grow accustomed to it as she gets exposed to minor projects of his.

♥︎ Seeing that she’s clearly reached her limit, Cioccolata tells her to find Papa Secco so she can pick out a movie. It can even be one of those silly musicals she loves so much. The singing animals and princesses were always enough to get the girl back to her happy self.

♥︎ When she rushes off to find her dad Cioccolata looks over to you, who’s been quiet as a mouse during the exchange, only biting the inside of your mouth as you watch your husband lie to your daughter. It seems you learned to stop coming in between them and their little attempts of influencing her.

Probably making reader partake in tormenting people. You’re not a deplorable human being and have sense enough to not spend your free time harming other people. The last thing you’d want to do is witness, much less help, Cioccolata and Secco torture and kill someone. It’s such a jarring experience, you’re feeling guilty for being so in love with them moments before they slapped you with reality.

Not only are you sitting through the gut-wrenching screams and passing tools to Cioccolata, but you’re also beating yourself up for forgetting who they were. Merciless killers that didn’t have an inch of humanity left in them. You were only “lucky” they fell for you, and like an idiot, you grew to return their feelings. What’s worse is that you know once it’s over they’re going to comfort you and you’ll let them! Soon falling back into your life as their prized possession.

They just love knowing that even though they’re messed up people you wouldn’t be able to stop loving them. They’re all you know at this point and leaving them isn’t an option, not that you’d want to. The perfect punishment and reminder that you’ll always be their’s.

Who said anything about college, they don’t keep any secrets from you so you know too much about their heinous crimes to be at a distance or occupied with a career. It’s too much of an opportunity for you to cause trouble, not that they believe you would since you’ve been such a good darling for them. However, your good behavior isn’t enough to let them risk a complicated situation, especially since there’s the slim chance of having to kill you.

You do have an allowance of ten thousand dollars a month once you’re well-adjusted to being in a relationship. Diavolo gives Cioccolata more than enough money, so it doesn’t hurt his pockets. Don’t try to save it though because every month that there’s money left over, he lowers your allowance. Since you’re not spending it all there’d be no need to set aside ten thousand dollars each month. Find something to do with it, even if it’s just trying new activities in the areas he allows you to roam freely. Spend it on parties, clubbing, food, games, clothes, literally anything! Just make sure it’s gone before next month.

Other than the financial stability, the duo treats you well and isn’t traumatizing you every second of the day for the hell of it. The only time they’re brutal or violent is when you try to fight them or attempt to escape. Cioccolata makes it clear that you’re not meant to be his next victim and treats you gently, so you’ll never think he’s going to have you on his operating table. Secco doesn’t compete with you or treat you horribly for the sake of forming a hierarchy, he’s as sweet as can be when it’s clear you’re not trying to escape again.

You’re treated like a human being, not a punching bag or object. They don’t keep you locked away with tattered clothing, you’re not starved or forced to beg for food and water. It’s not obvious to you that you’re a victim. You’re dressed in your preferred style of clothing, your plate of food always matches theirs, and your room is probably bigger than your old one. You’re more than welcome to walk around and entertain yourself as long as you’re not headed to an airport or train station without Cioccolata’s approval.

They love to take you places, fly you all over the world for being such a wonderful, understanding darling or just to show you the beauty of another country. You’re welcome to invite some of your friends or family since you’re past the point of snitching on them. Just don’t forget that they value your time and don’t want to be ignored the entire trip. Besides that, they don’t mind taking you places and allowing you to have fun and experience new things.

Other than expecting your love, loyalty, submission, etc. the two of them aren’t set on forcing you to be a specific way. You don’t need to be the spouse that cleans, cooks, and is ready to service your husband at any given moment. They aren’t expecting you to play the maid, butler, or the help! So you’re free to be just as you were before they abducted you, personality and all. You’re not even forced to stay in the house once you’ve fully accepted them! All you have to do is tell Cioccolata where you plan on going and answer the phone when he calls you. So there’s plenty of freedom and space in this relationship.

Your social life isn’t shot either, it’s what you make it. After the initial dread and adjusting they don’t keep you glued to their side. Go out and make some friends if you want, just know that they're bound to meet them at some point. Your friends are going to ask why your boyfriend is walking on all fours. Neither one of them dial down their personality or weirdness, be prepared to get some strange stares. So if you can stand the comments and questions about your strange boyfriends then, by all means, make friends. Cioccolata and Secco aren’t going to stop you unless they know for sure your friend is part of the mafia.
