Getting answers had been his first priority after one night spent in this world - one night which lacked any of the sort, keeping him awake. A bad habit to fall back into - but an easy one as well, and one that he knew was needed until he figured out the lay out of this world.
After having reluctantly turned on the given cellular device he had been given and buying a fresh new journal, ink, and anything else he could think of he'd need until he found himself a way to earn more currency.
Sure, there were apparently other ways to use maps - but he'd rather map out what he could on his own before relying on any sort of technology he couldn't take apart yet and study extensively. When he felt he could trust it enough, maybe he'd resort to using it.
But for now, he was content with doing it on his own for now.
As he made his way away from the 'Archimedes Ward', he had opened to a new set fresh page, ready to begin detailing this next area as he spotted yellow in the shape of something familiar.
Familiar. Too familiar. Ignoring the chill that ran down his spine - Ford pressed forward, hoping that he was wrong.
He wasn't.
"Bill," he said - the name spat out as he reached for... something he didn't have on him. Internally cursing whoever had the idea to give him a laser pen over anything else, he chose to glare at the triangle - How was he even here! They had erased him. Hadn't they? - while looking him up and down. And... brow slowly furrowing as he took in the triangle's form, gears beginning to turn in his head, and giving plenty of time for a response to the one word he had managed to get out.
