Man this drawing is old, 2015, sheesh... Anyway, a couple years ago, I rediscovered the game Populous 3: the Beginning. I got quite into it, as it is a fantastic game. It lead to a lot of fan art (as usually happens). As I now rediscovered it yet again, I figured I’d share both old and new fanart on here.
So, I ended up kinda making a whole universe based on this game, focusing on the blue tribe, like the game does, (I named the tribe Indigo), and keeping elements from the game while changing and adding to it quite liberally, just to keep my interest flowing.
This would be the shaman of the Indigo tribe. His name is Ciqala.
As a side note, I will probably post quite a few of my PTB fan art, and I want to make it very clear that I don’t know too much about indigenous peoples and their various traditions and cultures. All depictions of rituals and traditions in my drawings are completely made up by me, trying to make my beloved OC’s and their universe versatile, rich and somewhat believable.
