Endermite design thing. Got some big plans with these in an upcoming Minecraft champagne I plan to run for friends :)

Egg

Larva hatch and begin to burrow into host, feeding as they go.

Larva

Larva progresses to pupa stage, laying dormant till metamorphosis is completed. The adult endermite then emerges from the shell when the hosts heart rate slows, typically during sleep or an extended period of rest.

Pupa

Adult Male

After pupa stage males burrow deeper into hosts searching for the pearl to feed and infest.

Males are flightless remaining within the infected host for the entirety of their lives.

Adult Female

“The single eye betrays no thoughts but malice”

After exiting the pupa stage, females search for a new host to lay their eggs, then die.
