Finally finished a christmas stocking for my niece. Just gotta finish adding the name.
Pulled out my loom for the first time in forever and made some gloves. Accidentally made them way too long above the thumb, but at least now I know, haha. Also my first time trying this type of knit; I’m pleased with the result.
Hey guys! I’ve put up my circle weaves on etsy, as you all know I’m broke, so I’ve been selling things left and right. I found these weavings quite soothing to make!
The smaller one is here. (To be clear the smaller one is woven entirely using the same yarn as the outside of the hoop on the larger one, so it looks pretty jewel toned and bright in full light.)
The larger one is here.
I also take donations – paypal and $desdevorah for cash.me :)
A suuuuper cute AND FLUFFY scarf I made also with yarn my aunt gave me. Honestly the photos don't do it justice it's giving Free People but I made it myself. I used a circle knitting loom and then crocheted the flowers on and I left the tails because I can't be bothered but it just added to the aesthetic. Thank you.
Made a new headband for the first time in a while and I'm very happy with it. It's going to be a gift for my hair stylist!
I went in on the circular loom with the plastic. I went back and forth wrapping it around random pegs trying to spread out the plastic as i went to the next layer would have something to stick to.
When i felt there was enough in the centre I went around the outside of the frame so when I melted it there would be some stability.
I went in again with the heat gun to melt it together. This one took a lot longer and i had to melt it slowly so it didn’t break from the tension changing. After a section was melting I would press it together with the heat gun so it would attach to the layer underneath.
Finished piece hung up.
beetle progress, ive figured out some stuff, excited to finish and start something else but for now this is fine, I also worked on a circle loom today
