Review of PUREDERM’s Circle Mask in Green Tea Collagen
PUREDERM is a well-known Korean skincare brand, their products promote pure and perfect skin. They do a lot of various circle masks including this one, green tea collagen (vitalizing & hydrating), aloe collagen (moisturizing; review), avocado (revitalizing & refreshing; review), coconut essence (hydrating & soothing; review), and others. The green tea collagen circle mask is designed to maintain an ideal moisture level of the skin by providing a constant supply of moisture and nutrition. Key ingredients include 1,000ppm of green tea leaf extract (antioxidant, anti-acne, healing, anti-inflammatory, improves skin elasticity, anti-aging), 100ppm of hydrolyzed collagen (anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, aids in collagen-production), witch hazel water (promotes faster skin healing, soothing, refreshing), panthenol (penetrates deeply into the skin, hydrating, helps to infuse water into the cells, moisturizing) and allantoin (softening, soothing, protecting, stimulates new cell growth). The mask contains 18 grams (0.63 oz) and has kind of a sour scent.
The sheet mask is made of natural pulp that helps store more essence. It has a good fit, but I did need to adjust the eye holes. It rips quite easily.
Recommended use is to thoroughly cleanse and dry the face. Take out and unfold the mask and apply it to your face. Wear the mask for 15-20 minutes and peel it off from the edges. After using, I thought I'd note, there is a pretty noticeable sour scent in this mask, slightly like vinegar actually. The ingredients are really nice and there's only one irritant in the mask. The mask itself is kind of stiff but holds a lot of essence and has a good fit. It does rip easily though, so it's easy to adjust but be careful it doesn't rip too much. The mask is very hydrating, soothing, and refreshing and it helps to hydrate as well as to soothe redness and irritation in the skin. The effects do last at least 12 hours and my skin felt smooth and refreshed after taking it off. I'd recommend this to anyone with redness and dehydrated and/or irritated skin.
What I like: this mask is really refreshing and hydrating. It does a good job of soothing redness and irritation and it soaks into the skin really nicely. The ingredients are nice and the quality of the mask is pretty good. What I don't like: the scent to this is kind of unpleasant, the mask rips really easily and there is one irritant.
