I feel the Korean War is really so tragic because of how many families were divided by the 38th Parallel- and it’s just that the more time passes the more and more impossible reunification looks. It’s kinda sad but I totally understand why younger South Koreans say they’re not keen on reunification- reuniting Germany caused trillions. And the difference between North and South Korea is like wayyyy bigger than the gap between the Bundesrepublik and the GDR! (A great scene would be South Korea anxiously talking to Germany about how much he's afraid of reunification)

I would have Yong Soo pretty resentful that his house is divided when he wasn’t even an aggressor during WW2, whereas Japan got to be in one piece. As sad as the division of Germany was on the level of individual families, I guess a lot of other countries felt it was intuitively a bit of karmic justice.

-How I feel about this character: There are only two characters that make me want to abandon my morals and insecurities. This glorious bastard is one of them. <3

-All the people I ship romantically with this character: Everyone. No, I mean it, everyone can be shipped with France. My favourites to ship him with are England, Scotland, America, and Russia.-My non-romantic OTP for this character: Franada (But by all means, if you wanna make it less papa/frère, I have no objections)-My unpopular opinion about this character: He was positively enthralled by his Revolution.-One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.: I want him to go full on French stereotype, with the stripes, beret, fake curly mustache, etc. strutting around in some densely populated area (New York) and piss off as much people as he can with an over-the-top, exaggerated accent and mannerisms to make the Nation he's in and with (America) outright dying of laughter.
