why is your food so terrifying? genuinely what do you put in it... why.... why why why....
Terrifyingly delicious? Why, thank you. However, I can’t be going out and giving up my secrets, so it will have to remain a mystery. Still, take a piece of stargazy pie, fresh out of the oven. I insist.
Guys...I don't wanna go to the world meeting..
Why does it have to be in Russia and during December of all things?!
A bit of a meta question but how would you define the hetalia nations? Like how human (or supernatural) would they be? Will they have superpowers (fast healing, super strength), special connections to the land? Or mostly the same as humans other than immortality?
Thank you for the question! I really love answering questions about my mess.
Generally they are more human. They bleed, they feel pain of about the same intensity as humans. Their recovery is mildly sped up and if an injury is lethal they fall into a natural coma instead (Prussia in 1947-1949 e.g.).
The same goes for their psyche. It isnt stronger or more defensive than any human's They get mental illness just as frequently, are born with neurodevelopmental disorders (sometimes) or experience trauma. It is more so that they know they are immortal and have to push through. They dont have a choice and if they break, they will be isolated from the public until they improved.
The recovery (both mental and physical) depends heavily on circumstances. Also: Recovery is never certain. Only healing.
Nations can become disabled from their injuries. The chance increases depending on how heavily injured they are. If they are bleeding out within seconds, certain aspects of their body will be "neglected" and as such regrow wrong. They need medical care as everyone else does. Their body doesn't know how to realign bones on itself.
On the topic of disability: They sometimes are born with one. Prussia with albinism, America with poor vision or Denmark with AuDHD (feel free to ask me about whatever nation and their disabilities. I enjoy analyzing them). Just because they are immortal doesnt mean they cannot be disabled.
Regarding superpowers: Depends?
England, Norway, Romania and Belarus are all somewhat magically afflicted due to mysticism rooted there and canon info. I think it is possible if the personification are usually assumed to be of a mystic country and connected to magic.
Lithuania doesnt have magic despite me making him Pagan because theres not really a magic connection to Lithuania. For Norway, Old Norse is used in Wiccan rituals sometimes and Norse mythology is sometimes practiced (same for hellenism btw so Greece might too be mildly magic).
I like to stress the magic for Norway who also has Elsa powers for funsies (but with the ability to control water). I associate him with Niflheim in Yggdrasil since thats the ice world.
The land is fairly seperated from their own person. They belong their but a wildfire won't make them have a burning fever. However it does infkuence him in the way that they tend to have incredibly bad luck at escaping war since every encounter they have is symbolical. The only vital connection to land is more so that as long as their culture and identity exists, they survive (see Poland).
Thats kinda about it so far. I hope I didnt forget anything. Feel free tk ask more
I have to admit I greatly underestimated my chances this season on Eurovision as I don't have the best track record of winning such a competition. That's why I'm glad to report that as of today, my country now has 3 wins from the Eurovision thanks to this young man named JJ.
It was a great and exciting season for this competition, and I hope the same thing next year.
Iceland and I decided to get some burgers after what happened! ^^
I got a burger and some curly fries with a Pepsi soda :))
FUCK IT - THIS TIME I'M BACK FOR REAL!
