You were in your bathroom, touching up some pinpoints to your look, when you heard a soft knock on the door. Your heart fluttered as you walked over, opening it to see Taehyung. He had on his round, circular glasses and was wearing a white t-shirt with a light blue button down shirt on top. It was open to show his shirt, and he was in some jeans and tennis shoes.
“Well, you look handsome,” You said, flashing a smile. His face went red as he chuckled, shyly looking at the ground.
“Thank you… you look really nice too,” He said, looking you up and down.
“Thanks, Taehyung,” You replied, flashing a smile. “Lead the way.”
You followed him out of your apartment and locked the door behind you. When you walked outside, the full moon illuminated the world around you, a slight breeze hitting your face. He held out his hand shyly, nerves apparent on his features. You grabbed it easily, intertwining your fingers with his.
He took you through campus, entering the downtown area of Seoul where the nightlife was booming. It was about eight in the evening and as you walked through the streets, you saw plenty of good looking restaurants, but you passed them by.
Taehyung knew where he was going and refused to tell you, complaining that it was a surprise. You’d throw out guesses and make him laugh every time, as they just got more and more ridiculous. The streets were completely crowded, causing you to get closer to Taehyung, making him blush slightly.
“We’re almost there,” He said, becoming a bit bashful from how long it was taking.
“That’s alright, I enjoy the walk,” You replied with a smile.
You both turned down an alleyway, one that very few people were in. It actually made you a little nervous, until you turned into a building, walking up some stairs and into a restaurant. It was very cute and about medium size. It was a bit urban and looked like a sweet hole in the wall that not a lot of people knew about. It was perfect.
“How many?” The waiter asked. Taehyung held up two fingers, and the man took you both to your seats.
You sit across from him, a twinkle in your eye as you look around. It was so cute, and when you look at the menu, there were so many good looking options, your mouth began to water. You both ordered your drinks and the man walked away, you smiling as you decided what to order.
“Do you like it here?” Taehyung questioned, nerves evident in his tone.
“It’s so cute,” You replied, looking up and smiling big. “I can’t believe you know about this place, it’s so hidden!”
“Yeah… my friend, Jungkook, showed it to me…” Taehyung said with a smile.
“Well, be sure to thank him for me,” You replied.
You both chatted and figured out what you wanted. You both ordered and when the menus and waiter were gone, you leaned forward with your crossed arms on the table, talking to him as if you’d known him forever.
Taehyung was very sweet, and super smart. He had a different way of viewing the world that was quite refreshing. As you both sat and talked, something behind him caught your eyes. It was a group of about six people at a table, all wearing clothes that weren’t too flashy, as well as hiding their faces behind menus.
You didn’t think much of it, so you continued to talk to Taehyung, but these people kept looking at you both then turning away when you look straight at them. Finally, you saw a snippet of mint colored hair, and you couldn’t help but giggle.
“What?” Taehyung asked, smirking softly. The waiter came, setting your plates in front of you. You smiled as the man walked away, looking behind Taehyung again.
“We may be able to thank Jungkook tonight,” You said, pointing behind him.
When he turned around, his smile disappeared and his face paled slightly in embarrassment. When he turned back to you, you could see him gulp and shut his eyes, shaking his head softly. He obviously didn’t have a clue that they had followed.
“I’m so sorry,” He whispered, looking down at his plate.
“It’s okay, Tae,” You replied, reaching over and holding his hand. “It’s obvious that you didn’t know. Besides, I think it’s sweet that you have such great friends looking out for you.”
“So you’re not bothered?” Taehyung said, looking at you and frowning.
“Of course not,” You replied, letting go of his hand and beginning to eat. “Just ignore them, it’s alright.”
“I’m going to kill them later,” Taehyung growled, pouting slightly and making you laugh.
“Just be sure to hide the body,” You joked, making him smile at you.
You both continued to eat and talk, enjoying the company. By the end of it, when you both were standing to walk back home, you’d wished it would’ve been longer. Before you left, an idea popped into your head. You told Taehyung to hold on while you walked over to the six boys, who carefully hid their faces.
“So, how’d I do?” You asked, raising an eyebrow and smirking.
“I’m sorry,” Namjoon said, voice deepened to fake you out, but you cut him off before he continued.
“Cut it out, we know it’s you,” You replied, laughing. They all huffed and sighed as they uncovered their disguises. “Next time, try not to be so obvious, okay?”
“Alright…” Yoongi grumbled, drinking his drink.
“But you did good,” Jungkook said, eyes wide in innocence. “Not a lot of people can make him smile… so thank you.” You smiled back, nodding.
“I’m glad I could do it,” You replied, walking back to Taehyung who was glaring at them.
“What’d they say?” Taehyung asked, eyes softening at you as you held his hand, beginning to walk outside.
“Oh, just that they’re glad that you’re smiling,” You replied, biting your lip to hide your own smile.
You both walked a bit slow on the way home, not wanting to end this perfect date. When you both reached your apartment, you both stood outside the door, just smiling at each other. At one point, his glasses started to fog up, so he quickly took them off, wiping them as you giggled.
“I had a good time, Tae,” You said, smiling softly. “You’re a hell of a lot more fun than those bullies.”
“Thanks,” He said, putting on his glasses and scratching the back of his neck shyly. “I’m happy you enjoyed it.”
“Yeah, we need to do it again soon,” You said, making him wide eyed and smile.
“Yeah? You want to go out again?” Taehyung asked, making you laugh.
“Of course,” You said. “I really like you.”
He blushed, looking down and smiling, making you giggle. When he looked back up at you, you leaned over and pecked his lips, hand resting on his chest to keep balance. He was stunned when you pulled away, his redness running to his ears.
“I’ll see you next time,” You said, unlocking your door and opening it.
“Y-yeah…” He stuttered, making you bite your lip and smile. “I’ll text you.”
“Can’t wait,” You replied, shutting the door and leaning your back against it, heart fluttering. You found yourself excited for your next date as you went to get ready for bed. You held no regrets for standing up for the man with circular glasses.

// Part 1 // Part 3 //
Author’s Note: Here’s Part 2!! Ahhh, I love Taehyung so much. T-T This is so fun to write!! There’s going to be only one more part to this trilogy! ^_^ I hope you like it!! ^_^
It’s been a couple of days since the incident in the library. None of your old friends would talk to you, even a couple rumors spreading around about you just because they were spiteful, but most people didn't care. They just cared that the foreigner took down one of the most elite cliques in Seoul.
It really varied, the popular crowd that wasn’t really your friends and wasn’t there would make fun of you and explain the rumors, but most of the school praised you. Again, it was quite strange, but you had managed to keep to yourself.
You sat outside in the courtyard, the warm Fall weather hitting your skin as you sighed in contentment. In the corner of your eye, you could see some kids laughing and pointing, but most of the people around would stare at you in awe. It got quite tiring for you.
You saw a shadow walk up to you, making you look up from your book. It was Taehyung and he looked extremely bashful. Behind him at a picnic table, you could see the other six boys watching, but they looked away and kept themselves busy, making you smile. You stood up, Taehyung becoming even redder, his glasses down the bridge of his nose.
“I… just…” He started, making you frown.
“Taehyung, you can talk to me normally,” You said, nodding. “Don’t be nervous, I’m just some person.”
He looked at you a little surprised, blinking. He took his index finger and pushed up his glasses, gnawing on his bottom lip and thinking. His little actions were really cute, you couldn’t help but smile at them.
“I wanted to thank you for the library thing,” He said, a little more confident, looking at you with soft eyes. “You really didn’t have to do that.”
“Yeah, I did,” You replied, furrowing your brow in concern. “You guys don’t deserve that. Plus, he shouldn’t have grabbed you.”
Taehyung looked down, biting his lip again. You smiled softly, hugging your book to your chest and watching him squirm in front of you. He was so nervous, you found it extremely cute and refreshing.
“I hope you and your friends, who keep staring at us by the way, are all okay?” You said, peeking behind him to see his six friends turn away quickly. Taehyung blushed further, a cute smile appearing.
“Heh, yeah…. They wanted me to come and thank you,” Taehyung mumbled, before thinking about his words. “I’m really thankful that you stood up for me… for us.”
“Hey, I’ve got your back,” You said with a smile, nudging him with your shoulder.
“Do… do you want to come sit with us?” Taehyung asked, pointing his thumb towards the picnic table.
“I’d love to,” You replied.
You both walked towards the other boys. Jimin and Hoseok couldn’t hide their disbelief as you both sat down, making you chuckle. They snapped out of it, Jimin blushing a deep red.
“Guys, this is Y/n,” Taehyung said, smiling softly.
“We know,” Namjoon said, holding his hand out, allowing you to shake it. “It’s nice to meet you.”
“Nice to meet you guys too,” You replied, nodding. “You’re all a bit of legends around here.”
“I wouldn’t say that,” Hoseok said, smirking.
“We’re just decent human beings,” Yoongi mumbled, one headphone in as he typed on his laptop, no doubt working on some music.
“Those come rare these days,” You replied, looking towards the group of kids still staring at you and talking, amused smiles on their faces.
“Are you okay?” Seokjin asked, raising an eyebrow.
“We’ve heard the rumors being spread…. They’re not good,” Jungkook whispered, frowning. You shrugged, setting your book on the table and sighing.
“I expected as much when it happened,” You said. “I wouldn’t change it though. Every ending in my mind leads to stepping in for you guys.”
“Thank you for that,” Jimin said, staring with wide, innocent eyes.
“It was nothing,” You replied with a smile.
“It was everything,” Namjoon stated. “There’s not a lot of people who would help people who are getting bullied. We’ve stood up for these three for a long time, no one ever would because they’d get demoted in their popularity.”
“It was really brave,” Hoseok said, nodding.
“I just wish I had done it sooner,” You said with a sad smile. “but I’m glad I could help.”
You all sat there and talked for a bit, getting to know each other. They were all so fun and exciting, it was so nice to have people that didn’t take pleasure in making others feel small. After about an hour, you looked at the time and sighed, knowing you had to go to your apartment to prepare for your afternoon class.
“Listen guys, I love the talk we’ve had, but I have a class in an hour,” You said, smiling.
“Okay, hey, let’s exchange numbers, hang out more?” Seokjin asked, smiling.
You nodded, giving them all your number and they each texted you with their names so you know who was who. You said your goodbyes and you walked away, holding your book. Just before you exited the courtyard, you heard someone call your name.
When you turned around, you were surprised to see Taehyung running over to you. Your heart began to race, but you simply ignored it, smiling at him as he huffed from running.
“What’s up, Tae?” You asked, moving your head to the side.
“I was just wondering…” Taehyung said, the bashful boy from earlier coming back. “What’re you doing tonight…?”
“Well,” You said, thinking. “I had a nice plan with my couch and Netflix, so nothing.”
“Would you… maybe… like to go to dinner?” He asked, looking down, his glasses falling down the bridge of his nose. Your eyes widened in surprise, mouth parting slightly. Taehyung looked at you, a slight panic in his eyes. “Only if you want!”
“Like… a date?” You asked, a smile growing on your lips as you ignored his panic. He went as red as a tomato, ears matching his red cheeks and he shuffled his feet, staring at the ground.
“I mean… if you want it to be,” He mumbled, his voice a little shaky.
“I’d love to go to dinner with you,” You said, calmly. Your heart was going a hundred miles an hour. Taehyung looked up fast, wide eyed in surprise.
“Really?” He asked. Now he was the shocked one. You giggled, nodding your head.
“Yeah, Tae. I’d love to go on a date with you,” You said.
“Oh… okay!” He exclaimed, smiling big, making you chuckle. “I’ll pick you up at seven?”
“I’ll text you my address,” You said, smiling big.
“Okay! See you then, Y/n,” He said. You nodded, waving goodbye.
You watched him run back to the picnic table. You watched him say something and the boys burst into cheers, making you laugh. You turned and began your walk to your apartment, excitement buzzing through your veins.
