Been working on this hat on and off for the last few days, in between things when i have just a moment to spare for a just a row or two, where I dont have to worry about losing my stitch count or my place in the pattern. And it's amazing how those small moments add up over time. The hat is over halfway done. I absolutely love love love this yarn. I made a bolero with it a couple of years ago and I've had 12 skeins of it stashed away ever since, saved up for "just the right project." Used a couple to put a lovely border on a friends baby blanket earlier this year. Trying out one of my simple cat hats with it now. I love watching the color transition as I work. ... although, I do wish the color scheme had been arranged better. Purple to yellow is not a pretty transition. . I've been making great progress on my second sock, knitting between meetings etc.

But now the cord on my circular needles had split, and now I have to wait till my new ones get delivered till I can do anything and this is just rubbish.

Picked up these textured Addi rocket square needles yesterday (because yes, I actually needed another pair of 3.75mm needles!), and so far so good. They are supposed to be more ergonomic; I haven’t knit enough with them yet to feel a difference, I think.
