luckily we have a/c, but kats is a hotbox so we are doing a lot of laying on the floor in front of the a/c unit dhfddgj and eating popsicles/ice cream to stay cool when possible !!

hi haru !! my most fave is katsuki bakugou ehehehe anywho i hope this isnt a trauma dump and more of a lore dump but

when i really got into anime again, it was after a really Not Great breakup with someone i was with for 5+ years and living with and then i started MHA and i think bakugou was like. a character that i saw bits of my own anger in, and not to be like. y’know but i think he metaphorically held out his hand and pulled me out. and i kind of just fell in love djjdhejej

basically i love him a lot and he gave me something to latch onto when i needed it most. and continues to do so

also imagine you too had been secretly watching over ex!bakugou in your own way. you’d been keeping up with the news and asking for updates from mutual friends, but making them promise not to say anything to him about you asking. your breaking point was when a mutual friend told you bakugou seemed too calm. that he lacked any emotion, not even his typical default anger or cockiness… that he just seemed numb. you’d noticed the way he appeared more tired and careless through the few videos and gossip posts you’d seen, but you needed to see for yourself just how much you’d inadvertently broken his being. and so you left the door open when you came home.

you were worried in a way that everyone else wasn’t, because you knew katsuki, knew what it looked like when he was at his breaking point. and from what you’d seen, he’d surpassed that point. so you leave the door unlocked—hoping that he’d come inside. you knew it was selfish, but you were worried, and if he was with you then it would be less likely that he’d be out doing something stupid (when he was past his breaking point he’d pick fights with everyone, as a way of coping with the emptiness he felt)

and honestly? you were still in love with him. katsuki was it for you—despite everything
