Kali doesn't care too much about fashion. She has nice things in her closet, but she doesn't plan them out or anything. It usually ends up with outfits that are pretty laid-back. She doesn't care too much, but on occasion when she feels like sprucing up, she likes going for "cute" as opposed to decadent. (She's pretty short too, so she spends time shopping in the childrens section: it's cheaper.) She mostly likes things that are slinky and oversized, and spends most of her time in pants. She's pretty simple and doesn't really have time or energy for patterns.
JANI however is pretty much the exact opposite. When wearing her hijab, she never wears pants, but wears long, flowy skirts and outfits that are color blocked and accessorized and planned a few days in advance. She's a big fan of sunglasses in hijab and out. She basically does anything in her power not to look poor. Out of hijab, she wears things that are revealing of her hips and waist (she works hard on her waistline, and she'll be damned if she doesn't show it off.) She wears lots of platforms and heels even though she's kinda tall because she's a boss ass bitch. She almost always has a cigarette, especially around her annoying older sister Kali. When spending the night with Eronde, she'll usually wear something really short but with a simple style paired with a long overcoat/sweater/flowy thing along with lace up sandles.
Eronde dresses like what I imagine "fashionable black urban dyke". Lots of sweatshirts and harem pants. She also wears lots of gold because she's ballin (ok, she's not REALLY, but she has to look that way. It's a status thing.) Her style can be masc to hard femme but no matter what she ALWAYS looks on point. She can't be busted while trying to run the shadier portion of the night club. She's a boss. She's Jay Z and Jani is her Beyonce. She is also partial to sunglasses and would not be caught dead in a skirt or dress.
Lau Ki, being royalty or whatever, is pretty much required to wear square themed clothing. The royal garbs consist of long culottes and square necklines, and obviously lots of square themed decadence. The actual body is usually wrapped a few times to make it less human-shaped. Huge, inconvenient head pieces and tall, hard to walk in, square platforms. Also they have short capes, because short capes are fuckin cool. This is all so the royalty can resemble our android overlords instead of the lowly humans. Everyone in the royal family has an angular haircut because curves are for peasants without money to get a shape up. Outside of the royal garbs, however, Lau Ki keeps hir square theme, but is obviously a lot less formal since ze has to blend in with the citizens. In early pics I drew hir with cargo pants because I'm a lazy piece of shit, but I'm really liking informal culottes for inner wear and pajamas. Uh, normal jeans and tshirts is cool for outerwear. I don't want hir lookin' like joe from blues clues, but hir tshirts should have something to do with squares, and should maybe cut off sleeves. Ze's pretty athletic and may find it comfortable to show off the ~guns~. Ze also wears a fanny pack.
Marrue wears whatever she thinks is cute. She is the millennium sphere after all, so her clothing will most likely involve circles (peep that foreshadowing). But she's not too fancy, and like her best friend Kali, she's pretty simple. She spends a lot more time in sundresses, than Kali, though. Because she's so active and always running around and living life, she wears mostly cut off jean short shorts. She's chubby but not afraid to show off her thighs or belly because she's more busy climbing trees to steal the fruit off of the trees belonging to people she doesn't like. Also, she swings from the trees, so heels if she wears them at all are pretty short. Flats and boots and sandals for her. She cleans up pretty nicely with some mid-length dresses and heels when she needs to, and swoops her hair to the side. Marrue, in general, does not wear things that are long, pants or skirts. Even when she wears jeans, they'll probably be cropped. Footsie pajamas are an exception because she's a cutie pie. Millennium Marrue (like millennium everyone else) wears things that are super long and flowy, only she's the queen so like, hers is the most fancy.
