              the circus. dick only retains the fond memories of the place                 while hoping to push away the tormenting ones, burying it.                 even if his parents' death by trapeze was a ploy to earn in                 extra cash, he doesn't want to associate the poor choices                 of a man with the joy he feels swinging and doing flips; how                 the air rushes past him and the burdens unhinge. it was fun,                 but that was in the past. 

              all he's left to do is remember as he notices the poster                  announcing another circus act coming to town. it seems he                  wasn't the first person drawn by it since someone else stood                  before it. "you a fan of the circus?"
