Man you've learned a lot just in the past couple days! It's awesome!

I really just needed a nudge in the right direction!All the times before these last two I had no real clue of what I was doing and was just experimenting and was struggling to figure anything out.Thanks to this artist here I've learned some basics to work and build skill from, really I couldn't thank them enough for their patience in explaining it to me!

Yaaaay, i got one!

10. What do you like most about your art?

One thing I like most about my art is the amount of growth I’ve seen in myself over the past year and a half. I like that I seem to get the hang of mediums a lot faster than I used to.

11. What do you like least about your art?

I need to stop being so afraid of texture. I smooth out my stuff a lot, especially when painting. Also I need to work on contrast a lot more. Those are just areas that make me nervous, because I feel like I’ll just ruin whatever piece I’m working on.

22. List at least one of your “artspirations.”

Jeff Gogue. He’s a tattoo artist in Oregon, and he’s the reason that I am focusing a lot on painting, even though I want to go into tattooing. He grew up with an oil painter for a mother, so he has a good fine arts background, and then went into tattooing. His work is amazing, and I am definitely saving a spot on my body to get tattooed by him in the future.

24.) Do you have a shameful art past? Well of course I do. As a matter of fact, I have sketchbooks full of dumb pictures of fictional characters that I was madly in love with. Most drawings involve them interacting with self-insert characters. None of those drawings will ever be seen by anyone ever again.

Seems silly to go through all the trouble just to spend more time with unhappy old people.

i dont see why they're looked at in the way that they are

three or four years ago i would have felt like an exclusive club for intellectuals was the coolest thing ever, but today it doesn't seem like anything special. everyone wants intelligence but strives for intellect, which is nothing to be proud of, unless you're going to grace it with its most applicable application; then you've done something admirable i think.

it's why intelligence (here meaning intellect) and wisdom are gauged separately in d&d--they don't always go hand-in-hand.

and to impose one concrete definition upon intellect and intelligence is laughably obstinate and sanctimonious. i know plenty of folks who harbor no expertise in writing or in arithmetic, but who are among the most clever i've known.

all intellectuals hate each other anyway and that is how the universe keeps them from building death rays
