Yo Playa Why Can't You Think? || Nichkhun & Victoria
Victoria didn't care for the large bonfire party that was currently going on. Just like she had done for the previous one, she was going to mostly avoid it and keep to her own little house where she was safe from drunken fools. Not that she had much room to talk after what happened the last time she actually went out with the cirque and wound up drinking. She still couldn't believe how irrational and almost... no, totally, embarrassing she had acted. There was no way she was ever going to drink alcohol again, or even allow someone else to accidentally screw with her drink and give her an alcoholic beverage. The blonde didn't need to embarrass herself anymore than she already had.
Before she let herself get pulled back into the events from that night and all of her stupid, very regrettable actions, she cut her thoughts off as she increased the volume on her iPod. She refused to spend her time knocking her head against a wall for how she acted. What's done is done, and she would have to find a way to talk with Ren some other time. If she was ever going to, that is. But for now, she was going to stay in her room and read while she listened to music. Now that Zelo was no longer there, she at least had the place to herself which she was more than used to at this point. A small part of her did feel almost a little bit regretful that he left, but honestly she was not going to complain. It wasn't as if they had gotten along all that well anyway.
For a long time she remained in her little house while others partied on the beach, simply enjoying the solitude and quiet her room offered. But as she grew hungry, she remembered hearing about all the food that was supposedly going to be at the party, including BBQ. And although she really didn't feel like leaving her house, the appeal of a nice meal eventually lured her out after a couple of moments of making herself look presentable. If she had any luck she would be able to simply pick up some food and leave just as quickly without running into anyone... a certain blond boy in particular.
After straightening her bangs and pulling her blonde locks out of her face, she went down to the beach, skirting around most of people that gathered around the warm bonfire as she headed for where the food was. As she filled a plate with different snacks and assembled a hamburger, Victoria overheard a guy speaking with a few girls to her left. She didn't hear much besides a few corny lines, but it was enough to make her roll her eyes and glance at the speaker right as the girls shook their heads and walked away from him. A slightly amused smirk crossed her lips, but it slowly disappeared as her eyes remained on the dude, trying to puzzle out where she knew him from. It only took a few moments, but when it finally clicked in her brain she froze in place, wondering what she should do. She wanted to turn the other way and run back to the safety of her house, but her curiosity was beginning to eat away at her. She had managed to mostly avoid thinking about the guy she had idiotically kissed to prove some sort of point to Ren, but every now and then the memory would resurface in her mind. After all, unless her memories were really screwed up from that night, she had not witnessed a single thought in his mind when she touched him. Yes, she had not seen much when she came into contact with Ren either, but she had still seen bits and pieces of the teen's thoughts, while it had been completely blank when she touched him. It had to be she had just forgotten about whatever she had seen. There was no way she could have not read anything in his mind at all. Every single person she had ever touched had unknowingly let her into their mind!
Determined to prove to herself that she had simply forgotten what was in his mind, she turned and walked towards him, raising her eyebrows as he fell onto his knees from the rejection. Was he really being that dramatic about a simple rejection? What a moron. And there was no way she was going to keep that thought to herself.
She appeared in front of him, holding her plate in one hand and looking down at him with raised eyebrows. For a brief instant she felt uncomfortable knowing that she had kissed him, but she pushed that thought away. She had been drunk, and it wasn't as if it really mattered anyway, it was just to prove to Ren that she didn't like him. So before she left any other stupid feelings engulf her, she spoke, making sure his attention was on her. "What did you really expect from those cheesy lines? I'm surprised they didn't say anything mean to you, I know I would have."
