cis-russian / цис-русский [pt: cis-russian / цис-русский] ⁑ for when you're russian in a cis way .
tris-russian / трисс-русский [pt: tris-russian / трисс-русский] ⁑ for when you're russian in a tris way .
trans-russian / транс-русский [pt: trans-russian / транс-русский] ⁑ for when you're russian in a trans way . trans-russian coining .
Sorry, @i-love-ed-winters, I got things mixed up, so I used a screenshot instead...
I didn't know there were options, I had never heard of the white-blue-white Russian flag before. It's really cool though, and I like the peace / anti-war / anti-putin & the government in general symbolism of it >_<
The white-blue-red Russian flag is more common though, and I guess I'm just kind of used to it, along with other people I'd imagine,,, so I made two versions >_<
Mainly, they follow my usual format. I didn't use a symbol, or make a base flag, just because, the Russian flags I'm using are the base flags? And they don't have symbols.
I also made the white-blue-white version asymmetrical, just because I think that's more interesting. But maybe a symmetrical version would have made more sense, if anyone wants that, just ask >_<
For the last four trans-russian flags though, they follow a different format, using my alt trans-race flag. I literally just combined the stripes (and edited them slightly, just for aesthetics / the original blue and red are a little hard on the eyes). And for the outlines, I just couldn't choose between a pretty gradient or a clean, high contrasting, white, so I made both >_<
do you listen to music? what's your favourite genres if yes? do you listen to russian music? °,..,° I love russian music very much maybe I can share some with you if we have similar tastes
Sometimes. My current music selection is pretty limited, because I get stuck on... wanting to be proper about it, get all the files (so, whole discography of an artist) nice and organised, with metadata and all that, then get the subtitle files, + listen to them & think about what the song means, and if I like it all. Only then, can I listen to it in the background.
I've started to listening to... songs for babies (Russian), though, and it's easier, because I want to do it the traditional way, no (English) subtitles, + they're baby songs, so idk. just listen to nice noises, no understanding or forming opinions needed, ig.
Forming opinions is hard.
Also, I found one website (though I never did actually read it) that was a Russian site about... songs 4 babies. And I got so excited, like wow, I'm a baby! These songs are 4 me? (* ´ ﹃`*) I like being a baby, it's fun.
So yeah... that's the songs I listen to. I call it baby music, but I actually thought, it'd be sorted into regular genres based off... sound, or however genres are sorted, but I found this one publisher, and apparently the genre is just 'children'. well, easy for me, ig.
It's a bit embarrassing, but I want to experience being a (Russian) baby, so. Baby music.
I imagine... that's probably not your favourite genre, but maybe you know of some popular Russian childhood songs?
Or... you could recommend big boy music to me too, and I can try listening to it. Maybe it would be good training for my OCD... If I pick up any bad words from them, I can say them with great enthusiasm, like blyat!!! Hehe. It's such a funny word. Displays of energy and passion entertain me, so I stick to those words, more than anything else...
Also, it's really interesting, I've never heard music like this before. The singing (which sometimes is just talking), voices, and noises, are so... interesting, silly. Like they're kind of cartoonish, really all over the place. It has a complexity non-children music doesn't, idk, especially this one... it's 11 minutes, with talking and singing segments, I think they're talking to each other?? I don't understand it, but it's... I've never heard anything like before, I didn't know tracks could be like this.
I guess... if it's for children, it should be super entertaining? With fun? In ways people don't care about when it comes to adults? idk. I'm enjoying the new baby experience, I've never been a baby before /joke... unless???
Also. Even though most of them are pretty silly, upbeat, and even a bit quick paced, they make me feel... soft. My muscles start going a bit soft, and they feel vaguely funny. It kind of makes me smile, weirdly. I think it's triggering my cataplexy??? It's the same symptoms.... (except the smiling, ig?) They also make me sleepy. I mean, are babies supposed to sleep a lot? Is this intentional? I certainly am a sleepy baby (cis-narcolepsy) anyways... Narcolepsy and cataplexy... God knows what neurological issues. What's with these songs /silly
I just. I'm listening to it right now, and it's like my God, I've never heard anyone sing like this, like his voice goes super low, to super high, simple to heavy gravel, all in like one breath (and a short breath too) it's like oh my God, that's so much variation and energy, that must be really hard on the throat, it sounds impressive and unique. Well,,, I, as a music stupid baby, feel impressed anyways, which I think is the point? So go... authors (I can't read (* ´ ﹃`*)). Though, one album (according to translate app) is called 'The best songs for children and their parents' so maybe it's supposed to be good for adults too...
(XD 'The best songs for children and their parents' that's the level I'm on.)
This is my current collection. The 11 minute song is from the one with the really cute watery eyed blue dog, called 'Голубой Щенок и Бременские музыканты'.
(I love that dog so much. I like staring at it. It's so cute, it's all sad and stupid looking, just staring, just like me.)
AAA
as a cisrussian , I absolutely adore transrussians!))
have you ever worn a kokoshnik , or other traditional russian clothing ?
YAY!)))
yay . . . russian,,, .
No ૮◞ ‸ ◟ ა , I've never worn any traditional clothes before.
Something about it, not just the idea of traditional Russian clothing, but traditional clothing in general, fascinates me. I just, really really like it, even though I haven't seen much of it.
I guess, I do wear boxy clothes, and a bit formal too, but that's not 'traditional', more like old fashioned, you know?
I'm not really sure how, but I hope to try it someday...
And weirdly enough, like, I usually wouldn't want to wear feminine clothes (and yeah, it's all arbitrary, and fabric is only fabric, but that doesn't change the fact it's still categorised as feminine, and I also just don't like how it looks on me / fits me / etc.) but looking up traditional clothes, kind of makes me want to dress like that...
I saw some that had ribbons in their hair, red horns, also just this sort of,,, cone shape. It's very pretty! And this one image below, it's like, wow, so cool,,, I want to dress like that.
Though a bit plainer, the male ones have their own charm too. I just really like big coats honestly.
I think I'd wear both, maybe at the same time.
hehe wow...
just wanted to say that i (cisrussian) thought you are cis too :3
YAY !!! (I'm sorry I don't have anything to really respond with ><, so here's a flag |🇷🇺 )
