top 5 movie endings

I’m not really a movie person to be honest so I’m going to take this and change it to series endings if you don’t mind.1. The Killing. I’m really obsessed with the way this show ended. It was so fitting and perfect. It wasn’t too happy because that would be so out of place for a very melancholy show but it still ended on a lighter note probably the lightest the show could get without being random and inconsistent . It also wrapped up the holder/linden relationship and gave a small glimmer of possibility but again without being too happy because this was not a happy show . Also the “maybe home was us…” speech is probably something I’ll never get over, ever.2. This might be a weird answer but Greek. It was honestly just so cute . And it ended at the right time. Some shoes don’t know when to quit . They drag out to long with some terrible ending that no one cares about because they’ve already stopped caring about the show. But Greeks ending was so fitting. Rusty as KT president, taking what cappie created and literally rebuilding from the ground up. Evan and Rebecca! Casey and Cappie! It all just made me really happy tbh3. Again, probably a weird answer but The Black Donnellys. Like the killing, this was not a happy show. Even with the abrupt cliffhanger ending because of the cancelation, it worked for the show. (I completely stand by my opinion that if this show was airing now on another network we'd have 6 seasons)4. I didn't unrealize when I decided the change your question that most shows I watch/watched I either stopped before it ended, they're still on or I hated the ending. But Life. This is another one that was probably not meant to be a series ending but seriously, it was full of Charlie and Dani saving and protecting eachother which was basically the core of the show.5. I'm putting Veronica Mars here because of my probably unpopular opinion that season 3 was not that bad and neither was the amibiguous ending. (hey, it got us a movie!)
