I’ll be honest it was hardest to pick my favorite playlist. I called this one “Chill Hipster”, but since it’s more about vibes than exclusively indie/small artists, there are some bigger names in it. It’s inspired by the kind of music Life is Strange’s (the first game) soundtrack is made of.

2. The Giving Tree by Plain White T’s

love this song. It’s so simple, but really beautiful. I don’t think I’ve really listened to many of PWT’s songs.

3. To Noise Making (Sing) by Hozier

what more is there to say, I love Hozier. I don’t usually keep up with artist’s newest releases, but I listened to a few of his songs from the new album. Eat Your Young is especially excellent, I’ve been missing hearing it on the radio.

4. Sedona by Houndmouth

another song I just came across by chance. It’s fun to sing along to, gives me ugly-hot summer vibes at the beach, living-out-of-a-van vibes.

Alright, tell us something about either your oldest or your favorite OC

“Favorite” is like picking a favorite child so my oldest oc is actually Cassius. I made him back in middle school when I was a big fan of FMA and Assassin’s Creed, and he’s changed a *lot* over the years.

He started out as a vent character for me; I could explore my own loneliness and isolation through someone who felt alienated wherever he went. He was orphaned at a young age and adopted by a guild of assassins that raised him into one of them, and he wasn’t allowed to have any friendships outside of the guild. Having grown up around grizzled and hardened adults he couldn’t relate to, and nobody else around his age to talk to, Cassius grew up a quiet and reserved kid.

His original story was about grief, loss, and acceptance. Keep in mind I was in middle school, so the plot may seem a bit, uh. Contrived. But basically against his wishes, an orphan kid befriends 16-year-old Cassius. Over the course of their growing brotherhood (and Cassius’ insistence on keeping their friendship secret), Cassius is trying to teach himself how to read, so that he can finally understand his mother’s journal (the last thing of hers he has). After reading the journal he discovers that his father was part of the assassin’s guild — but, more terrifyingly, that his mother was trying to hide herself and Cassius from them. He reads on that it was the assassin’s guild that had killed his father, but the journal doesn’t say why.

When Cassius’ friend is discovered by the guild, they send a member to kill the boy. Cassius seeks revenge, but his victory rings hollow, knowing it won’t bring his friend back, and knowing he has no escape. The guild, feeling like Cassius has learned his lesson, allows him to live, and Cassius ends up even lonelier than before.

While his personality hasn’t changed much, I’ve developed the world a lot more. No more assassin’s guild, now they’re mercenaries; they work as couriers, assassins, detectives, bodyguards, whatever’s needed. I still don’t really have a plot, just a lot of story and background, but I hope that one day inspiration will strike me.

In the Undertale thing, have you considered the community talking about, and the boat persons warnings, of W.D. Gaster? "Beware of he who speaks with hands." Apparently he has a... hand in the determination research and time travel. According to speculation at this point at least.

Yeah, I have my main theory about him at this point but there’s not enough information for me to really back up any of my points. I will say though, if WD Gaster is not somehow related to the creation of flowey and the demon being in the undertale world i’ll eat my shoes.
